My aunt was a diabetic for years and years and I always helped her with anything she needed and always made sure she felt good enough to forget about her pain inside. Hello My name is Laterria Pusha I have been a CNA for 6 years now. I started being a caregiver because I was suppose take care of my step father once he got ill but he never made it because he gave up and I wanted to make a change and let's peopl know it's still hope. I enjoy helping and learn about someone who once could've did everything for themselves my heart's is made for this and I will never stop.

I am very positive and upbeat, I am kind and caring, I am very passionate in what I do. There is nothing else I would rather be doing than helping someone else in need. That is where my heart is at. I am very personable, outgoing and patient. I became a in home caregiver because I love helping the elderly live more independently from the comfort of their own home. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help seniors gain their confidence back. As a senior losing independence can be very frustrating and causes seniors to become very angry and in some cases lead to depression. Helping these seniors live comfortably from their home and making them comfortable at home while coping with losing their independence is very satisfying and my greatest achievement yet.

I have compassion for individuals that can't perform task or daily living activities,with the understanding that assistance is what they need to feel they are still in control of there independence,In my opinion, a caregiver job is one of the most important job in the world,I love what I do for a living and that's helping people live again in there on strength.

I have a big heart very caring, outgoing & funny I love to have fun and make the others around me happy I lost my uncle whom I took care of for over 8 years which shocked me and left me hurt for sometime but this also allowed me to see what I wanted my career to be helping and taking care others this is something that makes me happy

I enjoy working and caring for the elderly,most of my life was spent around the elderly.my experience in the nursing home,hospital and assistant living and home health.my overall experience is one I would never take for granted,because one day l love for someone to care for me.

I'm very passionate about being a caregiver because I'm able to help the elderly and help them understand that they are not alone. To show them Love, Care, And companionship. Having patience and listening to the needs and wants of others helped me improve myself. What attracted me to caregiving was helping my great grandmother Betty Jones who was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and later on suffered from her Diabetes. Caring for her and listening to her tell me about her younger days on earth really opened my eyes to something special. At that time I was 12 years old so I was pretty young to join the caregiving business. But instead I went on to help my Grandmother with her private clients and learn the ropes and actually get my hands on experience. What I enjoy most about caregiving is actually talking with my clients and giving them that security, Comfort, and love that they long for. I enjoy taking them for walks and listen to them tell me all about their younger day's. The best part overall is being there and giving their family a break time when things get pretty hectic. A personal achievement I am proud of would be having patience and learning myself. As a 21 year old that's still learning and is very opened to other's opinion can be a bit challenging. But by the grace of GOD and giving him my time I've learned how to conquer anything. I've learned that everything doesn't need a reaction and that you are in controlled of your behavior. I've also took the time to help my uncle start a Organization called Kidz4Kidz and that's a huge accomplishment for me. i'm able to help and Guide them and also share my story with them as well
