Hello my name is Roxanne Hodge.... I have been a CNA, PCT, Mental health worker for 43 years. I love my field of work, I believe it is my calling from God to serve and help others to heal, recover, and be comfortable in their home, hospital, rest home or mental institution as well as group homes. I have a great love for human life especially the elderly and children. I feel blessed when I am blessing others with their needs. If I can help somebody then my living shall not be in vein.

Patience ,attentive,trustworthy, caring, compassionate about other's everyday needs I enjoy working taking care of the elders family members on one on one interaction due to is the most rewarding things a caregiver can have is the fact I will be able to help others on a daily basic that alone is priceless I've been doing this line of work for the past 17 years and will continue to do so as long there is some in need of a caregiver

I'm a jolly joyful individual. Determined honest and my smile can light up a room. I was attracted to being a caregiver by helping my great aunt at young age. I then knew it was my passion to help others in the same predicament. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that I provide my best services to someone's aunt uncle mom brother sister or grandma makes me feel amazing knowing I did my best helps me to sleep at night . A personal achievement I am proud of is finally deciding to put myself first and take on my major goals of life.

I have always had great compassion for those who are sick, the elderly, and disabled. I began my caregiving by volunteering for Hospice for seven years. CNAs happily taught me how to do bed baths, empty urinals, and even how to change bed linens with patient still in bed. I am comfortable, and have experience in just about all facets of caregiving, which includes personal hygiene, including bathing, feeding, safely transferring patient from bed to chair, etc. I am comfortable using a Hoyer lift, and have changed and sanitized urine bags. Upon moving to a new city I began doing home caregiving as a way of paying my bills, and family recommendations kept me busy. I have enjoyed caring for the ELDERY with all kinds of medical problems, and DISABLED people, as well. In addition to passing the background check required for this site, I have a LEVEL II BACKGROUND CHECK which is far deeper than this site requires. I have taken and passed the HHA test, although I did not take the class. I am CPR certified, have had a two step TB test, I presently work for a local caregiving agency, but they are unable to provide me with enough hours, so I am eager to get full time hours! I have many references I can give if you are interested in knowing more. I prefer days, but I am open for any schedule.

I'm a kind hardworking person. I used to take care of my grandmother and that made me want to take care of other people. I like getting to meet new people and building bonds. My proudest achievement is walking across that stage to start a new chapter in my life. I love caring for people it's a passion.

I am very compassionate and I am very loving and kind. I am teachable. My grandmother when I was in high school she had a stroke and we very good care of her till she passed for 14yrs. I take the time to study my patient and get to know them. I pay very close attention to them. But I do give God all the glory because it's my heavenly father that has anionted me to do this job. I will care for your love one like there my own.

I'm a very energetic caring person . I grew up with both of my grandmother's being in the healthcare field. When my son was diagnosed with a bone disease and had to be amputated it opened my eyes to helping others more. I learned that not only do you caregive but you also have to be compassionate and build people up emotionally. So from losing both of my grandmothers whom were in the healthcare field and taking care of my son whom is an amputee, I grew the longing to care for others and started in the healthcare field.

I'm great with assisting, I love to help others and make them feel love and bringing that into their life, I go above and beyond. I enjoy making others smile and to be able to bring joy to someone else that need assistance. One of my biggest achievements would be is putting my all into others.

I love working with people. I love helping and caring for the elderly. It's like caring for my own grandparents. I love having conversations and play board games with my clients.

I am very compassionate and empathetic with excellent communication skills. I grew up with so much love and attention especially from my grand parents so when when my grandmother became ill with dementia it was a great honour to have the pleasure of taking care of her. Because I know who she was before the illness I could provide her all the love, respect and understanding she deserved. Continuing to care for my grand father after my grand mother died made me realize I wanted to build a career in care giving. Every day I have spent giving care has been indescribable blessing and inestimable pleasure. Learning from the wealth of experience of my Clients when we talk and seeing the world through their eyes is prizeless. Aging is inevitable to all and the least the younger ones can do is to show and give the older ones all the respect, care, tender love, attention and most importantly, revive their self-esteem.
