I have been in sales and marketing most of my 35+ years of professional experience. I got out of professional industry to take care of my parents who needed full time assistance; would trade it for the world, although I miss them terribly. Since I have grown even more interested in taking care of those in need, sharing stories and laughter...best medicine. My daily goal is to make a person laugh or smile daily.

I have been caring for family/patients over 20 years. I love to make people feel loved,important,and just letting them know that there life can still be enjoyed even though they have limitations. Finding joy in any situsation is the best thing you can shared with anyone rather it be through sickness are not. Stepping ouside the box what makes life so forfilling.

I enjoy the ability to help others, to gain knowledge form the elderly. I became a caregiver a few years after my grandmother was put in a nursing home. I saw the love and compassion she received and this inspired me to want to help the elderly and disabled. I got my CNA when I was 18 and my EMT when I was 20. I am proud to say I have helped an number of sweet people and they in turn have taught me so much. As a mother of two children, I want to show them that loving, caring and respect of all ages, ethnicity will make this world a better place.

Since I was a young girl, I have always taken great interest in caring for others. I usually am able to tell what someone I'm caring for needs before they even know they need it. I take great pride in being able to make someone laugh or smile as I am a big kid at heart.. You're only as old as you feel.. To me, being a caregiver is effortless, although I put my all into my patients and their needs.

I have years of experience working with Alzheimer's, dementia, feeding, preparing meals, bathing, total care and all mechanical devices etc. I have 3 children which 2 is serving in the Arm Force and one daughter. I came from a family where we all worked into the medical field caring and always helping others. A few years ago my father became ill and was diagnose with stomach cancer along with having dementia. I realized being a care giver and caring for others it took a special person to do this and I realized that I had to find someone just like me to help with caring for my father until his passing. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was my grandmother she was hospitalized and I was the sole provider for her when she was bedridden those were the best 6 months of my life just being able to give back to a woman who gave so much to me and my mom. Without our elderly, we would be nothing in this world they gave us a foundation and my mission is to give back and make sure that they are fully taken care of. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the smile I see on there face every day when they see I am at their home there to assist and the love they have for me being around them. A personal achievement I am proud of is starting school so that I may become an RN and I will be able to do more for the elderly and give them great care and peace of mind. I started off taking care of my great grandma at a very young age. I loved every minute of helping her out so I tried being a caregiver about 6 years ago and fell in love with helping people out in ways they can't help themselves with daily stuff/just being a shoulder to cry on or a open ear. Seeing the smiles and knowing I can help and make stuff easier for people makes me feel great. I love doing what I do and helping people out.
