I took care of my father, in our home, for over 8 years before he passed away on Mother's day 2019. I managed his medication, cleaned the house, made his meals, washed his clothes, helped dress and gave him baths. I assisted him in walking and eating. I delt with insurance companies and doctors offices. I took him to and from the doctor. Changed bandages and just sat and talked to him. I now take care of my mother, in almost the same way. I love to help people and make them feel better in any way that I can. Taking the stress off the person and their families is a way, I feel like, I can make that happen. I have learned a lot (hands-on) and a personal achievement I'm proud of, is learning how to pull community resources to assist the families I help.

I appreciate being given the opportunity to contribute to people's quality of life whenever possible. It is always my goal to treat others as I would want to be treated. I am dependable, honest, highly organized and goal-oriented. I have been involved with healthcare systems for over 20 years. I have also worked in caring for the elderly and with individuals who face mental health challenges. I have seen quality care and I have also seen situations where gaps exist and empathy is missing. I am 54 years old. God gave me a gift to help elders, and I love that gift! I have been doing this all my life. I can't express enough how it makes me feel to go home knowing I made them smile, or laugh for that day. I think exercise is very important if they are capable, and Companionship, Honesty, and just having a heart that cares for people. I go above and beyond for my elders, and I will treat them as they were my very own.

I am a fun and outgoing person. I am very energetic. I' use to help take care of my grandparents both used hospice so I helped with that.Then my cousin used hospice also from the sickness of Cancer. I really enjoy helping people no matter how I help whether it be to talk to run a errond or to mow the lawn to preparing meals. What I love most is knowing that I can make a difference in these peoples lives by helping them being there for them as a companion. So fulfilling other people needs seeing them happy makes me happy.

Just a single mom of two raising them on my own and trying to make ends mert! I like helping people, it makes you feel good, useful, like you're doing good work. I wanted to teach preschool, thats what I was taking classes for in school, but life had other plans, and so I started an in-home childcare business instead and I did that for over 20 years. Ive been a delivery driver for the last few years and last year I started working for Papa Pals as an in-home care companion. Ive always loved elderly people, and a few of my regulars from up north(in IL/WI- where I moved from) became kinda surrogate grannys for me, since I lost mine in 2012 & havent been the same since.

Hello! I have over 25 years of experience in the medical field, and it runs in my family. I worked at Guardian homehealth Care for 8 years as a CNA. I met alot of wonderful people, and learned alot! I then went on to being a professional Caregiver to help families in need for themselves, or their loved ones to remain at home. I have been doing this for many years and absolutely love it! I treat the families as if they were my very own. I find this rewarding and it gives me joy to keep them active in every day living.
