I then went on to being a professional Caregiver to help families in need for themselves, or their loved ones to remain at home. I have been doing this for many years and absolutely love it! I treat the families as if they were my very own. I find this rewarding and it gives me joy to keep them active in every day living. I was so touched by the Hospice staff as they ministered not only to my husband but to me and the rest of my family! So, after my husband passed I became a CNA and have enjoyed doing this work! Meeting not only the physical needs but also the emotional and spiritual needs of the client and their loved ones. I have worked with clients with many and various physical needs. Once I have worked with a client we usually stay in touch. I am a Christian, I love my children and grandchildren (which are coming quickly now), I love animals and I love to stay active.... I would say my strength is: my ability to listen and make people feel comfortable and important.

i had to watch my grandmother when i was young needing a caregiver. i know she could of gotten so much better help than what she got, so i became a cna while in highschool. i'm wanting to get more experience. i'm hoping to study to become a physical therapist soon. i've been in nursing homes & health centers !
