Hello,I've been in the home health business for 25yrs. I'm comfortable and familiar with every aspect of care giving . I've never met a stranger a day in my life,I can get along with anyone. I'm a quick study and welcome learning something new everyday.

I am a young, soft spoken, caring adult. I have been a CNA since high school but I have been in a caring/ maternal position for much much longer. I enjoy spending time/ assisting the elderly and/ or children to understand them and what they like and bring it to my personal life to explore and try new things.

My name is Dot, I am a great caregiver because I will care for my clients as though they were my family! I have been a certified nurses aid since July 23, 1993. Since then l have gotten my Medication aid certificate. I got into this field of work because I desided if I had to make a paycheck I was going to do help people in need to. I haven't been disappointed working as a care provider because it has helped me take better care of my family. The experience has made me a better person to and has brought me closer to God! My personal achievement has been to provide all of my clients with love and also have the knowledge to take care of my family!

I truly enjoy helping others to enjoy their best life . I love to see the smiles on my clients faces when I have helped them achieve something . My personal achievement would be getting employee of the month from my current company . I often work all of extra hours when others call In.

I am caring, empathetic, and quick to learn. I have been around all ages and have seen & experienced many different disabilities or health conditions. I tend to be a fixer. I know majority of the patients are probably going to be terminal but personally, I believe everyone in life is considered terminal. I look at things as if we aren't going to get out alive, so let's 1. Meet the necessary needs for each patient. 2. Let them enjoy the life they have left here with the people they love & by doing the things they love. I think for the most part when you have a heart that's keen to the caregiving industry, the most enjoyable thing is getting to go home with a fulfilling, "I did good for someone who truthfully needed it" feeling. But most of all, there's no story like an old story. I love to listen to them, to take in as much as I can but making sure I still fulfill my professional expectations while doing so. My heart is kind and ready to help or do everything in my power to keep these patients happy. Being that I am only 24, I don't have a whole lot of personal achievements that I'm beyond ecstatic to share just yet. But I think in this moment, answering this question, my most proud achievement so far is overcoming the life that I chose for myself. Overcoming the toxic family, overcoming my own personal self doubts or self worth. To feel like enough is enough some days & to know I am worthy of this life, to know God has put me here to do his work so He can sit back and watch is an overwhelming, gracious humbleness. I am currently retired and looking for something that is flexible and part-time. I have 44-years experience working with all ages of individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and youth with behavioral and emotional problems. I have an undergraduate degree in Health Care Sciences.

Since I was very young,I have always been a caring person, loved the Lord and continued to take my personality to different levels,I started nursing but raised my children instead but I became a nurses aide as well as a day care worker,I continued with nurses aide work in nursing homes,I did switch jobs quite a bit as I raised my children and often worked two but mum love has always been as a caretaker young and old,I have worked at a hospital and several nursing homes, done home health, and I am currently processing paperwork to continue nursing,
