I am applying for work in the DFW area and will be available several days a week. I've enjoyed caring for elderly and/or disabled individuals and helped to improve their quality of life. Nurturing and caring for others is something that has been very natural for me and I have had the great privilege of being a mother to 5 of my own children and now the grandmother of 6. I've seen the need for more trustworthy, quality Caregivers and strive to be one of them. My desire is to improve quality of life and bring a sense of calm assurance, stability and safety to others at a time when their world has been shaken by illness or injury. I am level headed, practical minded and very compassionate. In my experience, kind sensitivity and preserving dignity can be healing in many ways. I've also had the opportunity to be a caregiver for local clients as well as my own mother after colon cancer and taking care of my brother with difficulties regarding Parkinson's. I will do all I can to ensure that your loved one is safe and well cared for.

Hello, I've been a caregiver for 6 years, 5 years being a certified nursing assistant, and I absolutely love it. I decided to become a caregiver after watching my grandmother pass after suffering from a stroke. Even on the challenging days of caregiving I love making a difference in my clients lives. Compassion and kindness can change someone's life.

First and foremost, I am a mother of two beautiful children (whom I am home schooling), the three of us often act as a team when it comes to my work. It's truly spectacular how children can bring life and laughter to older generations, and it brings me joy as well! When I was young my mother worked as nurse in a home health facility, where I became every resident's very best little friend! I started volunteering in nursing homes, and hospice care facilities long before I was able to make a career out of my passion, I've never seen myself being fulfilled by anything else. I consider myself to be exceptionally compassionate, kind-hearted, understanding, patient, and loving. I also don't have a weak stomach, which I've found to be a great trait as a caregiver! My goal in life is to continue my passion as a fulltime career, so that I may feel fulfilled in my life and what I feel I've been called to do.

I have been a cna for 10 years and a medication aide for 4 years. I was also a therapy tech for two years.

I have been doing Home Health since 2009. I have been doing live in Private Duty Home Care off and on for the same individual for the last 11 years. At one Home Health Company I was promoted from caregiver to The Assistant to the Administrator and I was given the position as Intake Coordinator.

It takes a special person to care for our elderly. I treat your family, like I would be caring for my own. I have been a CNA for over 12 years, working in a nursing home was not a good fit for me. So I left and have spent the last 10 yrs caring for people in their own homes. I have cared for the early Alzheimer's and watch them transition. I have cared for a set of 26 wk old preemies and watched them grow to become very active girls. My greatest traits kindness, caring, loving and patient.

I am a certified professional caregiver after many years of caring for ill, and elderly family members. I enjoy giving others in need a sense of independence, and a better quality of life while remaining in their home. I love incorporating a variety of art therapy projects in my work with my clients, I've found it to be very beneficial. I also enjoy helping with pets, and am a devout cat lover! I am currently certified in Adult/Infant/Child CPR and AED training. I have a certification in basic first aid, a certification in (CBT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy and I also have a certificate for Trauma Based IDD issued by (DADS) Department of Aging and Disability Services with the state of Texas.
