Throughout my adult life, nurturing and caring for others is something that has been very natural for me. I have had the great privilege of being a mother and raising 5 children and now the grandmother of 5 beautiful little ones. I've seen the need for more trustworthy, quality Caregivers and strive to be one of them. My desire is to improve quality of life and bring a sense of calm assurance and safety to others when their world has been shaken. I am level headed, practical minded and compassionate. In my experience, kind sensitivity can be healing in many ways. I've been afforded life experience in caring for my husband after surviving a plane crash and learning to walk again. A year later, our 8 year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I've learned a great deal through navigating the challenges of these life altering experiences. Both husband and son are healthy and well today. I've also had the opportunity to be a caregiver for local clients as well as my own mother after colon cancer surgery and assisting my brother in difficulties regarding Parkinson's. I will do all I can to assure that your loved one is safe and well cared for.

First and foremost, I am a mother of two beautiful children (whom I am home schooling), the three of us often act as a team when it comes to my work. It's truly spectacular how children can bring life and laughter to older generations, and it brings me joy as well! When I was young my mother worked as nurse in a home health facility, where I became every resident's very best little friend! I started volunteering in nursing homes, and hospice care facilities long before I was able to make a career out of my passion, I've never seen myself being fulfilled by anything else. I consider myself to be exceptionally compassionate, kind-hearted, understanding, patient, and loving. I also don't have a weak stomach, which I've found to be a great trait as a caregiver! My goal in life is to continue my passion as a fulltime career, so that I may feel fulfilled in my life and what I feel I've been called to do.

I started caregiving when I was 19 yrs old and fell in love with it! So hear I am 23 years later still caregiving and helping others. I feel it's so rewarding helping others. In December of 2021 I received my certification to become an End of Life Doula. I've always worked for companies but recently branched off on my own to be able to focus on giving clients more one on one personal care! I treat my clients as I would want someone to treat my family. Update I am now a dementia practitioner as there is a growing need in the Alzheimer's and dementia community.

I have been a cna for 10 years and a medication aide for 4 years. I was also a therapy tech for two years.

I have been doing Home Health since 2009. I have been doing live in Private Duty Home Care off and on for the same individual for the last 11 years. At one Home Health Company I was promoted from caregiver to The Assistant to the Administrator and I was given the position as Intake Coordinator.

It takes a special person to care for our elderly. I treat your family, like I would be caring for my own. I have been a CNA for over 12 years, working in a nursing home was not a good fit for me. So I left and have spent the last 10 yrs caring for people in their own homes. I have cared for the early Alzheimer's and watch them transition. I have cared for a set of 26 wk old preemies and watched them grow to become very active girls. My greatest traits kindness, caring, loving and patient.

I enjoy being around the adults. I have a heart of gold. If you needed the shirt off my back I would give it to you. I love helping out. I go above and beyond my duties to make sure they are done

I am a certified professional caregiver after many years of caring for ill, and elderly family members. I enjoy giving others in need a sense of independence, and a better quality of life while remaining in their home. I love incorporating a variety of art therapy projects in my work with my clients, I've found it to be very beneficial. I also enjoy helping with pets, and am a devout cat lover! I am currently certified in Adult/Infant/Child CPR and AED training. I have a certification in basic first aid, a certification in (CBT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy and I also have a certificate for Trauma Based IDD issued by (DADS) Department of Aging and Disability Services with the state of Texas.

I chose this career because I was once deemed to never walk again due to a horrific 18 wheeler accident in 2008. Miraculously, I recovered with only a slight limp on my right side. 14 reconstructive surgeries over a span of 5 years drove me to cherishing every moment of being mobile. I wanted to give back and be support for those less fortunate. I believe that applying myself advantageously to ones that need or want assistance in everyday life, improves their QUALITY of life. Especially terminally ill individuals. It is scientifically proven that a better quality of life will lengthen life expectancy.

Hourly wage is negotiable I decided to become a caregiver because of my grandmother. As far back as I can remember she was a home health aide, I enjoyed watching her interact with her patients and making them feel comfortable. After watching my grandmother interact with her patients, i decided to try out the caregiver/assisted living/geriatric world in 2005, where i fell in love with the industry. I have been a caregiver for geriatrics and mental health for up to 10 years and have always enjoyed it. I have worked with patients that have all stages of Alzheimer's and dementia, including sun-downers, also patients with MS and ALS. With all patients, i like to get to know the family and help them understand and cope with Alzheimer's disease as well as MS and ALS and other diagnoses, which all can be very hard for some families to cope and understand. Not only do i care and look after the patient and their needs, but i also look after and care for the families. Because although, they are not being cared for by the aides, they too still need help at times. I am always there for the families for a shoulder to cry, a venting board, or just when they need help out or around the house. I do not only do my specific job duties, i do things that are not asked of me, i treat your home like i do mine. When i see that something needs to be done, i take it upon myself to complete that task. For example, dishes in the sink, dusting, trash overflowing, or helping a family member with something. I have assisted with assembling an entertainment center before, just to be a helping hand.
