I have 20 plus years in the medical field primarily in patient care and really have enjoyed helping and working in my community . I strive to provide the best care possible for my clients and treat everyone with dignity and respect. This is my work but also my passion.

I am a kind, caring, patient, understanding and very loving person. I became a caregiver to my mother about 20 years ago. She had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis which eventually crippled her. I supported her with very many of her daily living needs. Which I enjoyed doing ...so I decided that I would do it for a living. Being a caregiver for me is very rewarding. I enjoy helping people and seeing them achieve the independence that they are seeking. I lost my mother at the end of 2019 but being her caregiver for so many years allowed me to spend a lot of time with her. Now I enjoying caring for others.

* I'm organized and physically strong. I also have excellent communication skills, which help me interact with both patients and other healthcare professionals. My time management skills are excellent and I take initiative when caring for patients. * I love helping people. I've always had a soft spot for seniors and wanted to make a difference in their lives. * I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I also love the fact of making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. * Actively assisted clients in housekeeping activities like cleaning and dusting while running grocery shopping errands for them. * Provided exceptional emotional support through positive interaction and companionship.

Calm, relaxed , kind, patient.outgoing. Our daughter had Md. out of 5 children all grown and gone. Caregiving is something that comes natural to me. I like to know that I can help someone who needs me.

First there is God, with God you can become a caregiver, he put love in your heart for people, all people.i have 5 children plus 3 step children and 29 grandchildren all together a lot of love going on. There are a lot of people out there that need a lot of taking care of and they need someone that cares. What I like about being a caregiver is the love that you get in return, not all the time in difficult cases but you know it's there. My personal achievement is when I went to Miller-Motte to become a phlebotomist while working a full time and part time job I look back now and wonder how I made it.

I treat the patients as if it was my family. I love to sit and listen to stories that they have to tell about back when they were growing up. If you sit and listen to the elderly they can teach you a lot of stuff. I enjoy spending time with them. If they like to listen to music I will put that on for them. If they would like to go outside then I will be more than happy to keep them active.

Things that makes me a great caregiver/nurse assistance is my positive personality and behavior to my clients. I love to sing, reading Bible, and learning new things. I am a singer and good listener. A heart of loving, caring, listening, compassion, and confident in my work make me an attracted person to be a caregiver. I am proud of having a heart of helping other in need of my aid. I am proud of having a gift singing, and caring for people. I once had to care for my grandmother who was blind and needed personal care. I have worked with residents in their homes and nursing homes. It is my pressure to make them happy and feel to live longer. I believe in caring because I am young, strong, and healthy to help seniors. I know my skills, talents, and traits make me a great caregiver. Though I plan to work my way up the nursing chain, I absolutely love what I do today! I'm an outgoing, very dependable, and caring person.
