Well, a little bit about myself .... my name is Heather and I am a 30 year old woman and mother to an amazing five year old boy named Gabriel and we live in Lancaster . I love helping people ! I have a special place in my heart for preemies and the elderly :) the reason being is because they need a little more help, patience and love at times and I have found it to be extremely rewarding when I can assist and make a difference for the better in someone else's life. I am a very reliable, friendly caring and responsible care companion . I really form a bond with every patient that I have worked for and we've more so become like family. I love my family and friends and that's who I'm with when not working . I have worked as a CNA for over 16 years in a wide variety of settings including hospital, nursing home, assisted living, hospice and home health. I love working with seniors! My girlfriend, who is a nursing student and a caregiver, recommended that I become a caregiver due to the lack of men in the field, my patience with those in need, and my desire to help others. I was skeptical at first, but have since worked with all kinds of patience with all kinds of needs. From a seventeen year old with autism to a forty year old with late stage MS, to an eighty seven year old with Parkinson's and Dementia. I have come to enjoy my clients and feel honored to assist them in their day to day lives.
