My name's Mariah. Being a caregiver is something I've done seems all my life. I grew up on a hobby farm and had many animals. I was there caregiver. They thought me responsibility, respect, patience, kindness, and much more. I chose this career path because of my father. He was very I'll in my teen years. I learned about heart disease and skin cancer. He's now in heaven cheering me on. I also took care of my aunt who had kidney disease and spina bifida. My family has taught me a lot about living life to the fullest. That's why I enjoy being a caregiver because everyone should live life to the fullest each and every day. My goals are to make everyone smile and forget there problems, even when you don't feel well a laugh is always a step forward. When I leave my shift at the end of the day, I want my clients to know there cared for, respected, and most of all safe. My clients are MY BOSS. I'm willing to go above and beyond. When family's get tired I'm here, I'm there back bone. I'm always willing to help give advice or be a listening ear. Please remember it's harder for the person then you! Always keep a smile!

I am a compassionate, empathetic, outgoing and trustworthy person. I started caregiving because I love working with people they have so many good stories to share. I recently went to school to get my nursing assistant certification, on my way to be a nurse.

There are many qualities that make one a great caregiver. My qualities are that I try to do my best when working with residents as well as trying to understand them. Aging out does not mean they do not have needs or that they should not be heard, I try to use critical thinking and make every resident as comfortable as possible so their needs are being met. I am an outgoing person I love to help others and exceed my job expectations, I am a carrying person who is easygoing and takes responsibilities as well as the needs of others seriously. I have a grandfather with dementia and this made me want to help others who need an assistant. I have seen the lack of caregivers there is for elders. I love caregiving because it allows me to have a better understanding of what goes on in others' life and I get to be part of people's life making a difference in assisting them or bringing them a smile. I am proud of the person I am and how far I have gotten with my psychology and social work bachelors that I am currently working on.

Through personal experience with both my grandmothers, we found it difficult to find good quality and reliable care. Starting in High school I took a medical terminology course , and from there my interest in the medical field grew. I took the CNA course through Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville and LOVED IT! I opted to take the additional Advance Nursing Assistant course. I have worked in many different environment such as nursing homes, hospital and Home Health. After 3 years I decided to open my own business become licensed and insured to provide Care for others in their Home and it's been the Best discission of my life!!

Hi, I have worked previously as a special Education Teacher. I love helping people and increasing their ability to be self sufficient. I enjoy the relationships I form with people while trying to help them. Helping people gives me purpose and helps them succeed.

I am looking for a full time long term live-in position. I am drug free, only drink socially and do NOT do drugs. I will relocate myself upon hire. Here's my short list: I am a 62 year old semi-retired Respiratory Therapist. I have my own vehicles. I am very organized and have lots of experience caring for people. Excellent cook, housekeeper and home organizer. I currently cook, clean and do laundry for my client in addition to his personal care and companionship. My current position is live-in with room and board and $525 per week salary. I work for myself on a cash basis. I lately worked as a live-in caregiver for an 88 year old who recently went into hospice care and has passed away, I currently work as a live-in Resident Assistant at an Adult Family Group Home for developmentally disabled. Prior to that, I was a personal assistant/housekeeper/cook for Racine's Case High School Principal (Wisconsin), until he moved to CA for health issues. Prior to that I was live-in Housekeeper/cook for a professional gay couple in Trevor, WI. I have tons of experience with children, and have a 35 year medical background. Also interested in positions in Ashland County, OH 44805 area and will re-locate for the right position. Please be aware of State Laws regarding live-in domestic care givers hours for work. There are time off requirements. 24 hours a day 7 days per week is not an expectation you should have. It's demanding work and all caregivers need time to recharge. I am a 45 year old wife and mother of two grown children. I grew up in Roscoe and have stayed close to my family. I was in the auto industry at Chrysler for many years until I was laid off in 2021 and then I went to work for a local auto and homeowners' Insurance company the following year. I loved the customers at the ins. company. However, I became rather bothered by the extreme inflation and increase in homeowners' insurance rates for our customers in 2022/23, especially our senior customers. It just became unaffordable for much of our customer base. I decided that I would rather be part of an industry that helps seniors, rather than hinder seniors. I have been involved with senior care for the past year. My interest is to help elderly people with basic everyday needs. I specialize in companionship and housekeeping and whatever tasks need to be accomplished. I pride myself in keeping an uplifting spirit, personality and attitude. I lost a parent almost two years ago that suffered from dementia. I know the importance of having dependable and trustworthy help when it comes to an aging loved one. I work part-time for a company now doing the same type of thing. I am very interested in the needs of my clients. I prefer to work with women only. nothing against men. It's a comfort thing, but there may be exceptions. I am local and can provide great references. I am a "get it done" type of person when it's time to work. I am fully vaccinated and have a valid driver's license along with full coverage auto insurance. I would love to meet you and find out if we are a good match.
