I learn from day to day through out my Dailey task and use it as a tool to create a positive mentality to carry on I grew up in a household most of my family became a care giver and teacher because we love giving back to the community in any possible way of help I like to bund with my clients to build a trust and companionship, and learn from each other. I've learnt to listen and put myself in there shoes to understand them and do my best to my knowledge to help.

Im a good worker easy to get along with people And i been working with elderly about 15 years. I been working with dementia resident. I love to work with elderly because thier like my parents and grand parents im loving and caring person and when i work not just work is with my heart. And i treat. Them as my own family i really care for them . I making sure that i would give them a good quality care that they needs .

I have a heart for serving and caring for people. I show initiative to go above and beyond to assure my clients have the best life possible. I enjoy learning about, and from, my clients.

I first got into this field of work because I watched my grandpa in a skilled nursing facility not get the care that he needed, and was treated unwell. Since then I have made it my passion to give my all to those who need help, and to try to teach others in the field. I treat my clients/residents as family and I'm still close with family members of previous clients. I would say I'm very confident in what I do and I always ask questions if I'm unsure about a clients care/needs. I enjoy my job as well and I enjoy spending time with those and hearing their life stories.

Heyyyy!! My name is Madelyn Wise. Im originally from Michigan and came to Alaska in May 2021 after I graduated highschool and was unsure what i wanted to do. I absolutely love Alaska and plan to stay as long as i can. I enjoy being outside and working in the yard. I also LOVE pets. I have a little cat of my own and we love going on adventures together. I grew up in a bigger family, i have 4 adopted siblings and one blood. Greetings! My name is Kara Thomas. I am a 29yr old Direct Support Professional originally from Anchorage, Alaska. I have been in this profession for 9 years. Throughout my journey I have experienced a lot. My love and compassion for the persons I serve are endless. I started off as a regular 9-5 worker assisting individuals with autism and soon graduated to a live in position at the age of 22 where i continued to hold that position until my relocation to San Antonio, Texas. During my time as a live in I learned to love and care for the individuals I supported as if they were my own family. My duties consisted of the regular activities of daily living that were expected of me, however; I enjoyed going above and beyond that. I didn't ever see my work as simply just work. To me it was my life and my individuals were my family. We all have one life to live and if I can make a difference in one persons life then to me that's living. Thank you for your time.
