My name is Leslie and I am 31 years old. I have experience working with elderly patients in the Santa Clarita Valley for 7 years. I have gained a lot of experience in the field in regards to different patient's needs. I am passionate about assisting and performing quality care.

I'am a warm compassionate and caring individual. It my way of giving back we had help with my mom when she broke her hip. Helping other people making sure they are cared for. I worked with a man with Parkinson disease as well as a diabetic. He was 96 years old when I begin working with him. He was on hospice, with six months to live, he live to be 100 years old and six months. His children say that was due to my cooking and taking care of him, talking with him he just needed someone to show him love and attention.

Obtaining the knowledge in the medical field. The compassion I have for taking care of one. Being able to make a difference in a person's life that feels like they have no one or that they are alone the joy I see on their faces good and bad but the overall is knowing that someone is there. I'm responsible, reliable, good listener , loving ,caring person and most of all patience. My experience in hospitality industry lead me to this work, where I was able to help and volunteer to a group of seniors who come and eat in our restaurant. The part I enjoy most is listening to their story especially if their trying hard to remember and try to help them through it. Personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I m able to use my experience to the most people who need it.

I love to take care especially senior one treated them like my family since I by myself. Am a friendly person a good listener and like to jokes,happy person too .I can take care of my residents good listened and attended assisting to there needs.

I am a soft hearted person. I always believe that I can fix the world and make everything better. I always go above and beyond to help everyone even if it means I stay without. What made me become a caregiver was when my dad was in a recovery home and a patient next to him had no one to visit him and he was so sad. He said to me, "I wish I had a daughter like you". After finding out he had no one, I told him "You just got one". The smile and happiness on his face did it for me. I gave love, hug him and took little things to him he liked. Sadly he passed about 1 month later. That is the reason I love not like being a caregiver. To give love and happiness at their time of need. My personal achievement that I am so proud of is writing and completing my book. I am a Domestic Violence survivor and my book tells my story. I am also proud and happy that I worked for 10 years working for ACTOR AND WRITER MR. SIDNEY REZNICK until he passed in 2004. I hope when I finally get it published, it can help someone. I love to help and care for defenseless people and give them as much love and happiness I can. I have been working as a caregiver for the past 15 years.
