I am a caring compassionate person who loves to see and create happiness. I understand the frustration and limitation sometimes life brings upon us and am always willing to help to make things easier and a bit more tolerable when possible. I feel everyone should have companions by their side or near. I also understand in giving space when needed, though keeping a watchful eye for safety. I enjoy being able to help in any way possible. I am open minded and have giving heart to all that is set before me. I also enjoy sharing stories and being physically proactive in activities to support and/or maintain our health.

I am a person of values, with patience, and willing to take care of your family member as yourself. I understand the need to trust somebody with your family member, myself took care of my mother for several years until her last days while I was working a full-time job in Peru, I just move to the country to start a new life and I excited to help with anything your family member needs from companion, to help cleaning, cooking, maintenance the house like plumbing, painting, gardening and anything I can do for your family member to make him or her comfortable in his/her own home. I am fluent in Spanish and I speak basic English.

I have a big heart. I helped my father fight cancer with a 3 year old. We did it. Helped someone with MS. Was a challenge but I'm easy to talk to and like to conversate. I'm easy going yet professional. Know CPR and first aid certified. Was going to school to become a teacher but changed my mind. I like being a clinical nurse and a positive provider.

Some traits that I have is that I'm caring. I always make sure to keep those under my care comfortable and have all their needs met. Being able to help families take care of their loved ones is what attracts me to this job. My favorite part of the job is being able to work one on one with people and learning about them.

I started off by babysitting children, I took care of my nieces and nephews and along with them I started babysitting their friends and a mother from one of the children wanted me to care for her grandmother, since then I realized caring and nurturing is my passion. Being able to help as much as possible to the ones who need it most brings me joy. Everyone is caring for the children that I feel like our elders are pushed aside .. My compassionate, loving, caring yet strong personality makes me a great caregiver.

My name is Diana Halvorson. I spent over 7 years providing care to my husband, who passed in late 2019 of cancer-related issues. I did not have much help during that 7 years because we lived in a remote, rural community. I would like to help other people in a similar situation so they do not have to deal with this alone. I believe my most purtenent traits that will help me in this endeavor is my patience and calmness under pressure. I enjoy making people feel that they matter. The love I receive from my children, both human and fur, are the achievements I am most proud of.

I love this job cause of the needed help I bring. I've never been lazy and don't mind hard work.

I became a caregiver when my father got sick i took care of him for about 4 yrs before he past we went as far as hospice but at least i knew that he was comfortable and was where he wanted to be and that was at home. I feel good about seniors being able to stay in there homes rather then nursing homes. My biggest personal achievement was raising my son by myself and seeing that he is so sucessful. He graduated Fresno State na works for a local news station and for that I'm very proud. I am a mature women with no children living with me so I have all the time in the world to help pleasing others I have my own transportation and I look forward to finding new clients.

It is important to bring joy and peace to those who are going through various stages of illness including hospice. I can provide the calm and compassionate care that is needed for people with mild to advanced memory issues. Am committed to caring for those with physical, emotional and mental limitations. Am there to encourage and help them reach these goals however large or small they may be. My ability to do these things were achieved through the experience and knowledge gained in nursing school and working in a skilled nursing facility. I am a licensed Home Care Aid and received my CNA certificate and graduated from Nursing Assistant Training Academy in Fresno, CA. Also Red Cross trained in CPR. My purpose is to lessen the pain, uncertainty and fear we have all felt when our loved ones are suffering. It would be a privilege to serve you and your family in this capacity.
