I went into Chiropractic because I wanted to share knowledge with people that I had gained over the years pertaining to natural healing. When my father died, and being an only child, I knew my mother would sooner or later need my help. I lived with her in her apartment for 9 years, preparing all the healthy food she preferred. I did the cleaning, the laundry and some of the bathing, driving her to Fresno to medical appointments.

When I was 19 I got my CNA certificate and I realized that my passion was helping others especially senior citizens. I ran a child care for six years from 1994 until 2000. I worked for the county of San Luis Obispo as an addiction specialist through my internship for college and was hired as a paid intern at the same time I was also a caregiver.
