I believe I am a great caregiver because for one I've been caregiving for over twenty years, and have witnessed all types of cases over time. I am young enough to be flexible in physical abilities to better assist also mature enough to sympathize with all the aspects of losing their independence and needing extra assistance. I am a Mother and wife a home maker for my children. I treat my clients as if they were part of my own family with much care and respect..Thank You
I became a caregiver because I love helping anyone in need. I have approximately 20 years experience working with almost every medical diagnosis you can imagine. I do this because my clients love being in my company. I reassure the clients by my experience they are in great hands. I always put smiles on my clients faces also I believe in giving gifts to brighten the day. I love being a caregiver because I know I make a difference in the clients lives. I pride myself on making each one of my clients happy with my service. I am a very dependable, on time and go above and beyond, structured, and professional but fun caretaker who loves what I do. Please allow me to make life easier for you. I look forward to assisting.
i started in the medical field at the age of 16, because i knew that that was what i wanted to do. i continued on when i went to the air force working with my fellow soldiers, when i came back home i have worked in Drs office , and ultimately working for elderly and Hospice. It is very fulfilling to know that i can make a difference and put a smile on someones face just by being there. Helping people is my PASSION
I have worked as a CNA for over 9 years and as an HHA for over 5 years. I enjoy what I do. My goal is to become a nurse and being a CNA and a Caregiver is a good first step. Whenever I work with my clients, my aim is to find creative ways to encourage them to do something more than they have done before. Though working with various clients has its ups and downs, it is especially exciting for me to see someone get better while in my care. Even a little progress is better than no progress at all.
I have experienced as a caregiver for 15 years now> I started in Israel taking care of 2 old lady for 2 and half years until and moved to Canada and worked there as a nanny to two 6 and 4 year old girls. Then I moved here in the United states and been working as a caregiver since, the shortest time that I was with a patient was 3 and half years and the longest was almost 5 years. I always stayed in one patient and had build and strong relationship that most of them consider me as part of their family. I love being a caregiver because I am able to enjoy and learn from them a lot. Being with them taught me a deeper understanding that the job we do requires compassion, love and respect for them.. My greatest achievement that I am so proud of are all the lessons that I have learned taking care of different kind of people, The appreciation I got for taking care of someone is something I consided a great achievement. I am 47 years old, married, no kids, love to sing and love to learn new things.. I completed my Nursing Assistant training and I am now on my LVN nursing program on the reviewing phase in preparation for the licensing exam. I am cheerful, loving and compassionate person.
I love taking care of elderly. I have been taking care of elderly for so many years. I do other jobs like teaching and scheduling nurses and CNA, but I always go back to caregiving. The elderly are full of wisdom. I love hearing their stories. It's been a joy working with elderly dementia mind they are just very innocent. I relocated from Chicago Illinois to California to be close with my children and grandchildren.
Prior to becoming a caregiver I worked in Business Management for 15 years. I left in 2009 to take care of my grandmother in who needed full time care due to COPD and Parkinson's Disease. While caring for my grandma for 3 years I learned how important it is to make sure the elderly are treated with empathy, patience, love and proper care. So after my grandma went to be with the Lord I new I wanted to make a difference in others who needed assistance in Everyday living due to an Illness or just unable to due things they use to cause getting older which we will all be there someday and need some extra care. So I went to school to better my education and learn more about knowing the proper mechanics and safety to be able to be the best caregiver. I Got My CNA/HHA. I got a job pretty fast after finishing school at a Facility where they put me through a Med Tech Program so I am also able to administer Medication, Take Blood Sugar and Assist with Insulin. I Work with that company for 5yrs but have decided I would like to work as a personal in- home caregiver where I can work one on one and am able to give that client the best care possible and there able to stay in there own homes.
