Hello everyone! My name is Miguel and I am a recent graduate of USC. I am very friendly and patient worker, who loves to laugh and make people laugh. Ever since I've worked at the hospital and assistant patients, I've had an undying passion in helping and working in the hospital/as a caregiver. Seeing people smile and thank you for all the hard work is its own reward.

Some of my personality traits that make me a good caregiver is that I love helping others with tasks that they can not do themselves. The people I get to be around with is what attracts me to being a caregiver. What I most enjoy is when a patient tells me that I'm doing an excellent job and they love having my company around. Personal achievement I am proud of is going to school to better my education with helping others as they need.

I'm a very outgoing caring person with a huge heart. I was attracted to becoming a caregiver when my grandma got sick with pancreatic cancer on top of being a diabetic. i had to take her to her appointments, help her with daily shots, insulin injections, getting in and out of the showers and help her when she was sick from all the treatments. I loved knowing that i was making a huge difference in her day. I like to fill like i'm making a difference in this world. There is so much hate in this world and i would like to bring as much good in this world as i can. I love helping people and talking to people.

I am an excellent caregiver because I actually care about my clients. To me its not just a job but helping others who cant help themselves. I am a very caring and sensitive person who can understand people. I helped my grandma through her last couple of years of her life which really drew me into helping others. What i enjoy the most is the experience and knowledge you get from helping others especially our older generation who i think we can learn lots from. I'm proud of what have learned so far and knowing what i can learn in the future if i continue on this path.

As you can see from my education, I always wanted to be a nurse ( like my Mom who was a Director of Nursing.) Instead I had a career with Colgate-Palmolive as a Region Sales & Marketing Manager. Now, most importantly, I provide compassionate, loving & skilled care. This allows family members to know that their loved ones are cared for -- like I would care for my own family. I truly love caregiving and want to improve my clients' quality of life! Additionally, because of my education and training, I can provide accurate and perceptive feedback when it's required or requested. This is critical when things may need to be assessed & you need to trust in my care & judgement. However, it is the little things that mean all the difference between caregivers. I am firm when needed; and I am often the only healthcare team member that can get them to do their exercises or bathing routines. They trust me!! It is up to me to establish that I know AND want what is best for them! I do medication prompting, all ADLs , great meal preparation, light to heavy housekeeping , errands, activities (usually whatever's needed.) Also, I know their favorite foods/shows & I can go through family pictures and know all of the family members' names -- including the great grandchildren! I can communicate with family members - as desired - through daily Google logs, texts, Skype, Zoom & FaceTime. Secondarily, my goal is for the family not to have to worry during these often stressful times. They know that I truly love their Mom/Dad, Wife/Husband. And ultimately-- that is what matters!

I have over 10 years of caregiving experience. I am very confident in my ability to treat each client as an individual with a unique set of needs. I am a positive person and is definitely reflected in my work. I treat each client as if they are part of my family. I started caring for my father in law that was dying from cancer and found that caregiving was exactly what I wanted to do. It was wonderful to spend time with compassion and love for someone spending their last days on this earth.

I am kind, organized, and goal driven. I currently am moving to my grandmother's house to be her daily caregiver. But my heart is in helping others! And I want to extent my support, love, and grace to other families was well. I know first hand how difficult it can be to care for you aging loved one. But I am full of patience and believe whole heartedly in respecting out elders. I hope to be a good fit for your family, and look forward to working with you soon.

I am caring, compassionate, loving, kind and patient. I have been drawn to senior citizens since I was 5 years old. My mom always said she could always find me at the seniors homes visiting. I believe that seniors deserve the very best care. I love being able to help those who have experienced so much life. I want them to know they are loved and not forgotten.

I enjoy being someone seniors can depend on & love getting to know them, listening to their life stories. My biggest personal achievement is being a Grammie to 6 wonderful children.

I am mother of 3 and grandmother of 5. I enjoy caring for those who can not do for them self. I was raised by my grandmother who became sick n I took care of her.
