Hello, I live on the south west side of the Springs, just west of HW115. I've spent the past 10 years in the medical field as a nursing assistant. I have 2 years experience with in home caregiving. My current availability is basically 6pm to 6am Weekdays and any hours weekends and holidays. Please let me know if I can assist.

Every since I was around 9 years old I knew then I wanted to help other's . My parents let me watch a 6 weeks old baby boy even though they were just across the street and parents up stairs, it was a joy! Since then I started at Ft. Carson military family as a red cross volunteer at age 16, after had other jobs but I was always drawn back to caring of other's. I have many different levels of care experience including Hospice as caring for children of many different levels of care as special needs adults. I have worked in hospital settings as nursing hms as asst. living including personal care & private care. I have been a personal asst to those that needed help organizing their lives such as book keeping, mail, areas of concerns, cooking, cleaning, errands, a lot of hands on, Dr appts, meetings with love ones as social workers. I had my own business so I'm very aware of customer service as patience. My, my, my to look bk at years of experience 20 plus as becoming a great grandma only had one child a girl, some tells me I don't look like a grandma let alone a great grandma, I give thanks for good genes & most times healthy eating and if I may say so the lord above, please don't let me saying the lord above scare u off from hiring me; I don't push my beliefs on anyone. I like to say most times I have more good days then bad as most of us , I hope.. I'm register with the state with a CNA license as CPR through the red cross. I have to say if I read this I would hire me, ha, ha. We all can use a smile as some laughter considering these days events! Thanks for considering me. Take care you and yours!

As you can see from my education, I always wanted to be a nurse ( like my Mom who was a Director of Nursing.) Instead I had a career with Colgate-Palmolive as a Region Sales & Marketing Manager. Now, most importantly, I provide compassionate, loving & skilled care. This allows family members to know that their loved ones are cared for -- like I would care for my own family. I truly love caregiving and want to improve my clients' quality of life! Additionally, because of my education and training, I can provide accurate and perceptive feedback when it's required or requested. This is critical when things may need to be assessed & you need to trust in my care & judgement. However, it is the little things that mean all the difference between caregivers. I am firm when needed; and I am often the only healthcare team member that can get them to do their exercises or bathing routines. They trust me!! It is up to me to establish that I know AND want what is best for them! I do medication prompting, all ADLs , great meal preparation, light to heavy housekeeping , errands, activities (usually whatever's needed.) Also, I know their favorite foods/shows & I can go through family pictures and know all of the family members' names -- including the great grandchildren! I can communicate with family members - as desired - through daily Google logs, texts, Skype, Zoom & FaceTime. Secondarily, my goal is for the family not to have to worry during these often stressful times. They know that I truly love their Mom/Dad, Wife/Husband. And ultimately-- that is what matters!

I have over 10 years of caregiving experience. I am very confident in my ability to treat each client as an individual with a unique set of needs. I am a positive person and is definitely reflected in my work. I treat each client as if they are part of my family. I started caring for my father in law that was dying from cancer and found that caregiving was exactly what I wanted to do. It was wonderful to spend time with compassion and love for someone spending their last days on this earth.

I am a compassionate, caring single mother of 2 (20 & 14). 18 years ago I worked as a CNA at Cripple Creek Rehab and Wellness Center, where we had a elderly care, rehabilitation for drug and alcohol addicts and also some psychiatric care with both mental and physical disabilities. I also worked Maxim staffing agency working as a temporary CNA for numerous nursing homes in Colorado Springs, to include hospice care. I then married and decided to stay home to raise my children and let me license expire. I have since been a single mother for the past 10 years and decided to return to school for computer skills to support my family. Recently my youngest son and I have been volunteering with some homeless outreach organizations (Blackbird outreach & Spreading Smiles and Sandwiches Facebook Group) and it has reminded me how much I enjoy helping others and providing support to those in need. Now that my family is older and smaller I have decided I am able to return to this type of role as my career and am reentering this industry. The proudest moment in my life is two fold, raising my children as a single parent with good morals and values and also earning my Bachelor & Master degrees while providing for my family.

I absolutely love working with the elderly and have several years experience with dementia, Alzheimer's and assisted living. I am extremely creative and love finding things we both enjoy to do together including painting manicures, painting on canvas, playing games and cards or anything else have air in chest just to make sure their day goes a little better.
