Licensed Kansas CNA training took care of my ex's father for 5 years he was diabetic and had kidney failure so was on dialysis and was a double amputee. That is actually what started my journey to be a caregiver. I enjoy that feeling of accomplishment by helping others in need. I'm proud of taking care of my ex's father for 5 years and that he stayed in my home till the day he passed away I took care of him.

Hello my name is Ashley! I have 3 children and been married for 15years. I'm currently a CNA but I'm looking forward to being a great Caregiver. I'm able to help with ever day needs as well as be a great companion. I've got Caregiving experience for 10+ years I'm able to help in any way possible. I know how to cook, clean, groom, shower, help dress, grocery shopping, remind of medications. I LOVE to listen to the stories and each person has and what knowledge I can receive from it. I enjoy meeting new people, I worked in the hair industry for 10 years and My favorite clients were the elderly. Building friendships and helping is my favorite thing to do. I have helped my grandmother who had elezhimers, and my grandpa who had cancer. I spent lots of time helping prepare food, cleaning, playing cards. Those were some of my best memories.

I have taken a CNA course and had a license but lost it due to not acquiring my CEU's in time to keep it, I was a stay at home mom who took care of my disabled husband and son for 27 years. I am a very compassionate person that loves to help people I enjoy spending time with them and reaching people on a emotional level. I believe since covid hit that too many people have been isolated and just need someone to visit them and talk to them

I am an energetic, goal-driven, caring person who is interested in using my medical experience for someone in need of care. While I was in high school, I was a caregiver for an elderly man with Alzheimer's and terminal cancer. I greatly valued my time spent with him and was thankful that we could help each other out; I was able to help him do day-to-day activities as his caregiver and he gave was prompt to give me life advice anytime he saw fit. Shortly after he passed away, I graduated high school and joined the Army National Guard as a combat medic. One of the biggest reasons for my enlistment was to get my foot in the door with the medical field and to better the quality of our troop's lives. Being a medic means I get to see people on their worst days and, though that might be a less than glorious job to some, I find purpose in the fact that any intervention I administer helps better that person's quality of life. I intend on furthering my career in the medical field as a paramedic and will be attending school for my associates in paramedic medicine- ultimately leading to a career as a flight medic.

I have been in the healthcare field for 30 years although I have dabbled in other careers I always come back to caring for others. I have worked in many different settings but always go back to working with the elderly. My belief is that they spent their lives working and caring for others so they deserve the same respect. I think I knew at a young age healthcare was my calling. What I enjoy most about healthcare is knowing that I am able to give my people the best care possible. My personal achievement is raising my four kids as a single mom to be honest,reliable and caring humans.
