Hi! My name is Penny. I'm a single mom of 2 kids, a 15 yr old daughter and an 11 year old son.I enjoy working with elders as well as developmentally disabled, and have since I was in high school when I volunteered in our special needs class. I am a very caring, kind person who believes that an elder should be able to live in their own home as long as they can safely do so, and I enjoy being able to give them that ability. I was a CNA at one point, but lost my certifications due to choosing to be a stay at home mom (while I was in a relationship with my sons father). I do have some physical limitations as I can not lift dead weight, however, I am willing to do anything asked of me within my limits.

I have been a caregiver for 15 years. My love for others prompted me to become a caregiver. I enjoy the reward of helping people who are less fortunate and can no longer do as much as they once could do for themselves. The achievement I am most proud of is completing one of my 2 years of college. I am halfway done with my degree!

I became a care giver,because I love helping people,care giving gives me the chance to help the families out with problems,care when they are short with help,and I can help them in other ways too.Helping people feel like people,and care for them,better than a nursing home can do,and save them money too. I'm 59 yrs old,5'7,divorced,own my own property my 80 yr dad lives with me,he is now better,that I changed his doctor,She had him on medicines that were making his heart slow down,and swelling of his legs,and weeping,due to on warfin too long.Now that he is off,he is much better. I am looking for light housekeeping and companion work only no heavy lifting at all looking to stay in the Hudson Route 52 New Port Richey area I won't go to Holiday and I'm going to go to Spring Hill just the local areas and if it's local it's like $10 an hour instead of 15 I have my own vehicle background check went through okay I don't drink smoke or do drugs and I drive I also do pet sitting for seniors

My name is Janna Reynolds. I enjoy helping others, especially the elderly. I am compassionate and give 100% in everything I do. Caring for my elderly grandmother during the last years of her life made me realize that caregiving is my passion. There is no greater feeling than knowing I made someone's day a little better! The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is listening and learning from each client I encounter.

I became a caregiver because I have always cared about they well being of others, will go out of my way to help others. Being a caregiver makes me feel good at the end of the day cause I was able to help another with their day to day life to whoms family could not be there for whatever reason. I make it a personal achievement to put a smile on each patients face during that day and make them feel like someone cares about their wellbeing other than their families. I myself have taken care of my mom for thirteen years to whom lost her eye sight do to diabetes to which also lead to renal failure as well to which passed in 2011. I personally feel that people in Health care are often there just for the pay check to where I am there not only for a pay check but for the well being of the person/patient that I'm there to take care of. You should treat each and everyone as if its your own family members.

I have many years of experience as a CNA. Also worked as a restorative aid which allowed me to help patients with difficulty swallowing that are not on a regular diet and aid patients in walking and range of motion activities. I am also CPR certified.

Responsible, caring and emphatic are words that would best describe me. I decided to become a nurse after seeing my grandmother lose her memories to dementia and I have a passion for caring for those suffering from the same illness. What I enjoy the most about taking care of those with dementia is when you have a conversation with them and something sparks a forgotten memory and you can see it in their eyes, how happy they get. That makes the job more than a job. I attended RiverOak Technical College in Live Oak, Fl in 2018 and recently graduated. Before that I was a CNA for four years working in LTC. I now work as an LPN in LTC but, I'm branching out into home care.

I currently work as a CNA at the Health Center of Lake City. I enjoy helping others and knowing I am making a difference in ones life. I became a caregiver to make others lives easier, and make others feel that they still have a purpose in life. I make the best out of all situations and live to make others smile. It makes me happy to know that I make a difference in anothers life. I am currently enrolled in Florida Gateway College and plan to strive in the health field.

My Mother's breast cancer came back and she was terminal. She could no longer care for my disabled Father, so I stepped in to help with cleaning, meal prep, and Dr. appointments. I enjoyed getting to know my parents better until their passing. We had a lot of laughs and hard conversations as well. I became a CNA a year and a half into caring for my parents part time. I was a carpenter by trade and decided on a career change.I have taken care of other patients privately. In the five years that I have been a CNA, I have become quite an advocate for the disabled and enjoy searching for resources to their betterment. I am a married mother of two grown daughters. I enjoy the outdoors and the theater. I have compassion for people in general.. I love to hear their stories and share ideas and experiences of my own. I care for people the way I would want to be treated.
