I served my country in the U.S.A.F. and have worked at the Dept. of Veteran Affairs. I have been a C.N.A. for over 20 plus years and I have experience working in Florida East, Winter Park and Orlando Florida Hospitals,Hospice/Vitas care,Private duty care in St. Louis, Mo. and Franklin,Pa. and several areas here in the Sunshine State of Florida as well as working many nursing homes. Providing care to elderly people has always been exciting to me. Meeting female and male patients who are seeking different individual goals and then helping them to reach their individual goals from restorative care, knee replacements, stroke victims and spinal injury as well as geriatric care. Being a male CNA you must learn to always be professional and to be very discreet when working with all your clients whether they are female or male. I will always make you feel very comfortable and explain everything that I need to do for each different skill that I provide. I have learned to listen to the family and to the patient for the needs as they may change. I love listening to the history and the stories of the lives that they have built. I really believe that listening to the mothers and how they have cared for their own kids and the fathers who stand by their wives while providing them with the excellent care they deserve. Remember it's your turn to be well taken care of by your experienced caregiver. I can also help with medications and medical appointments. I love listening and conversing with the elderly. They have experienced so much and changes in this world. I am fascinated by the stories. I am a loving, kind, trustworthy and dependable person with an easy going personality and I also love animals. I enjoying life and smiling as much as possible and find that my passion is helping other people. Pricing negotiable depending on case. Thank you for your time and reading this. I look forward to hearing from you.

What makes me a great caregiver? And why did I become one ? because I put my heart into everything that I do , because I believe in family , and I have passion for the elderly history ,and because they are my type of friends, the type of people that I want to be around and they have the conversation that call my attention . i am a 47 year old married woman. i have 2 minor children at home. i choose this field after 8 years of owning my own childcare because of family reasons. my husband was diagnosed with diabetes and my mother with early dementia. i was looking to just get the education to be able to take of my family when the time comes, but soon found out my wanting to take care of people was soley in my heart. i currently work in the field of hha and glad to say longer than i anticipated. i learned that the more i gave when taking care of others made me offer so much more of myself and willing. i feel complete and not at work when working with my clients but mostly at home and you know the saying "home is where your heart is"....... and my home is working as a hha.
I am a caregiver and nurturer by nature. My Nana was an RN and has been my inspiration since I was a little girl along with my passion for helping and caring for others. I truly believe my passion is my gift and I intend to continue using it to better the lives of others by giving them a sense of security during their time of need. I am compassionate, gentle, patient and kind, but both strong willed and physically strong, willing and able to take on most any task to help people in need. I am happiest when I am able to make others comfortable and happy during times of need or just to be an extra hand or along side for support.
I am 39 years old and a mother of 4. I have 3 boys and 1 girl. I have been a caregiver for elderly, for over 5 years now. I enjoy meeting new people and love all the stories from their youth. I enjoy being part of helping them smile and reminisce. I also appreciate the friendships I have gained. My youngest child is 10 and I have a lot of free time for work nowadays. I am happy to help others, in any way I can. It is an awesome opportunity to help people to enjoy life again. I am loving and have been told that I have a way with elderly patients. We seem to be able to connect on a lot of levels. I keep in touch with the family's that I have worked with throughout the years. I consider them dear friends of mine and they are my best references. I am taking courses to further my education on multiple things, I enjoy the knowledge and I believe it makes me a better caregiver.
I became a caregiver because I LOVE taking care of the elderly. They are so appreciative of any help. I think the elderly are full of knowledge and wisdom. I love to learn from them. What I like about being a caregiver is feeling good about myself, because I have helped someone of somebodies today. It is a very rewarding and satisfying job. I have worked with the termally ill patients and family members, and enjoy helping, teaching and comforting all involved. My greatest achievement in my life is being a mother of 3 wonderful grown children. Helping people is my Gift in life.
