What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm a caring loving person and I care about my clients/residents and how they feel, I'm a very understanding person, working as a caregiver I consider it my calling not just a job ,I become a caregiver due to being encouraged by my grandmother who is no longer with me, giving her the best care in her last moments and hearing her say you will make a good nurse someday really encouraged me to get in this field, It became a part of me and every person I care for I remember what my granny said to me, So I do it to the best of my ability and each person I touch I try to make a difference in their lives, what I like about being a caregiver is comforting my clients, making them feel safe and secure being there for them just listening to them, understanding their needs ,comforting them and knowing I'm making a difference in their lives. My Personal Achievement is I'm proud I can make someone mom or dad smile and to hear that I'm doing a great d job with their family member, and being able to make a difference is what makes the difference
I am a caregiver and nurturer by nature. My Nana was an RN and has been my inspiration since I was a little girl along with my passion for helping and caring for others. I truly believe my passion is my gift and I intend to continue using it to better the lives of others by giving them a sense of security during their time of need. I am compassionate, gentle, patient and kind, but both strong willed and physically strong, willing and able to take on most any task to help people in need. I am happiest when I am able to make others comfortable and happy during times of need or just to be an extra hand or along side for support.
I am a very experienced care giver. I took care of my grandfather with dementia until he passed, as well as taken care of my mother with cancer the past 8 years. I have also worked with adults with disabilities for the last 4 years. I enjoy taking care of others, and will be returning to school for nursing in the spring. I just moved to FL from NY October 2019.
I'am a great caregiver because I connect well with people and meet their expectations and well-being needs in order for them to function in today's society. I became a caregiver because I'am compassionate about people and I like helping people. As a caregiver, I like seeing people needs met correctly and in return seeing the contentment and peace that comes on their face afterwards. A personal achievement I'am proud of is working with children, adults, and elderly people and never ran into legal problems or situations which testifies I work well with all populations. I have 5 or more years of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Dependency Case Manager working with several ages and cultures.
I am a very compassionate resourceful experienced loving caregiver. What I love about my position is a one on one with an older adult who I can develop a trusting relationship with and be an important person who motivates and offers besides services loving and caring companionship. Very rewarding!

I have many years of experience in giving love and care for seniors. I have being working with seniors sinces 2006 back in Miami. I worked for a residential assisted living, worked with Alzheimer, dementia residents and patients with special needs. During my time working there I absolutely loved it. It's so heart warming with people that need it my help. I would have to help them changes every two to four hours or as needed. I will put out their clothes and if need it I will help them to get dress. I also monitored them very carefully and Around 5 a.m., I got my wonderful residents up and dressed for breakfast, brushed their hair, put on their shoes, helped with their false teeth, cologne or perfume, helped them to the bathroom and wiped them if needed. I loved my job. I'm a CMA certified since 2009 and currently attending college to become Medical Business Administration. I'm very honest and trustworthy. I am a very compassionate woman when I'm taking care of seniors, children and pets.
I became a CNA because I love to help people. I like to help those who are not able to help themselves. Also, to hear their stories. Im proud to be a CNA because I've never really had any issues or physical complaints about me. I've been a CNA for 10 years. I plan on going back to school to either become an RN or a police officer. I love what I do and I always give my best.
Respect is the most important trait I bring to my caregiving jobs. I'm committed to helping my clients foster a sense of belonging and live to their fullest ability. The desire to help people is what attracted me to caregiving, and the knowledge that I can help in the fight against abuse of people with disabilities and seniors. I enjoy seeing my clients laugh with friends and families and know that my help with their daily living gives them comfort, and ease in interacting with their loved ones.
