I am Smoke Sensitive and Allergic to Cat's... so if you do smoke or have Cat's, then I'm unable to assist you - I've no Allergies or concerns to or with any Dogs though. I have also Completed the 2 Dose Vaccination and received both the booster too. Have you and your family members who are in or visit the home, been Tested, 2 Dose Vaccinated and received the Booster too? During all of these years I've personally provided & or supervised our wonderful senior community, both men and women with multiple types and disciplines in: "Hands on Home Care, Health & Companion Care, Respite Care and all forms and facets of Private Duty Nursing /Caregiving". Certified Medication Aide is also one of the multiple qualifications I hold, that allow me to assist you. Whilst I am within your home, I can safely administer any and all of your prescribed and or over the counter medications, be it daily or weekly, as prescribed. I've also played an active role in doing Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy / Recreational Therapy and Speech Therapy Assistance. I can also provide Transportation for any of your Dr. Appointments, Errands and Social and Spiritual Activities, on an prn (as needed basis), whilst I am assisting you. I became a caregiver after I had quit my job to become a caregiver for my mother who was suffering with terminal cancer. She passed away, but the quality time we were able to share while I was caring for her is so precious to me. Then I began to realize how important it is to give unconditional love and empathy to anyone who is suffering with an illness or the negative effects of living their senior years alone. I began to realize that we all will come to that stage in our life and having someone who truly cares about your well-being and helps you with a loving heart will make all the difference in the world! I enjoy being a caregiver because it is gratifying to "give back" I also like the fact that at the end of the day "I made a difference" in their life (even if they won't remember me the next day?!) My greatest achievement is the raising of my two children who have grown up to be successful independent adults. They both have a confidence and drive to do anything they set their mind to do. Makes me very proud! One thing I can share about myself is that while I was growing up, my sister and I would go to my Grandmother's house which she converted into a boarding home for the elderly. We would help her with various things such as, helping prepare meals, serving food, entertaining the guest, (like playing cards with them, putting on skits, singing, etc.) I have great memories of that time and realize as an adult what a great heart my grandmother had for helping the elderly.

I have a lot of compassion and respect for my care seniors and for everyone. I'm very clean and willing to learn your way on how to take care of your love one.

I have always enjoyed taking care of people I have a passion for making sure the elder is treated right and considered equal to the rest of us. I enjoy making people smile and if we can achieve that in ways of becoming healthier that's even better. I took care of my father at home until the age of 80 when he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

I am a very compassionate person with a caregiver heart who gets great satisfaction in assisting others. Many of our loved ones need assistance with daily activities, such as walking, grooming, grocery shopping, housekeeping, etc. For the elderly and children, extra help is needed when the people they depend on go to work or have other commitments . I have been working as a Medical Assistant for over 20 years and have a passion for this field. However, I feel the need for a change now. I would love to continue similar work outside of an office environment.
