Hello I'm JoHelen "Everyday I do what I love and I love what I do... my Vocation and my Purpose in life". I'm an Irish woman living in beautiful Winter Park for 28years and in Orlando for 4years. With over 35 years' experience in Europe & Florida in the Home Caregiving Industry within the Private Sector. My life has been blessed and is still a blessing, even during these most challenging times, the world over. I am Smoke Sensitive and Allergic to Cat's... so if you do smoke or have Cat's, then I'm unable to assist you - I've no Allergies or concerns to or with any Dogs though. I have also Completed the 2 Dose Vaccination and received both the booster too. Have you and your family members who are in or visit the home, been Tested, 2 Dose Vaccinated and received the Booster too? During all of these years I've personally provided & or supervised our wonderful senior community, both men and women with multiple types and disciplines in: "Hands on Home Care, Health & Companion Care, Respite Care and all forms and facets of Private Duty Nursing /Caregiving". Certified Medication Aide is also one of the multiple qualifications I hold, that allow me to assist you. Whilst I am within your home, I can safely administer any and all of your prescribed and or over the counter medications, be it daily or weekly, as prescribed. I've also played an active role in doing Physical Therapy / Occupational Therapy / Recreational Therapy and Speech Therapy Assistance. I can also provide Transportation for any of your Dr. Appointments, Errands and Social and Spiritual Activities, on an prn (as needed basis), whilst I am assisting you. I consider myself to have been in the care business for a number of years at one time owning my own in home care services and then later graduating with a master's in counseling offering other services of clinical care, and pre need services. Now I'm at a point in my life that I just want to slow down a bit, still helping, but give of my time to families who are in need of help in Care giving. Care giving is very rewarding, no matter what capacity of care giving, it gives to self worth when you can truly find the time and open your heart to someone in need.

Im a very calm easy going person. I love taking care of people. Its in my nature to nurture and have compassion for what someone may be going through. I love to put them in a good mood despite what may be going on. Try to keep a routine and help them stay active if applicable. I treat people with respect and dignity. I am a certified in CPR and completed my Caregiver Certification with CEU Credits.

I am a female none smoker, I have always been passionate about helping people of all ages, it's important to have someone you can count on and trust when you have a love one that needs help. My experience as a caregiver begins when I work as a translator at medical missions out of the country for 7 years, a life change experience. Seeing people of all ages the need of care, love, understanding, and compassion it's then when I knew my call was to help those in need; I have been working as a caregiver for 8 years + years now, 7 out of the 8 years I been working with patients of beginning, mild and severe dementia, I am Certified Caregiver, my help consist in monitoring medications, doctors appointments, meal prep, bathing, companionship, light house cleaning/ laundry, during this years as a caregiver taking my clients to third doctors appointments I had the opportunity to known many of the local doctors and nurses in the area engaging in a relationship that in the long run can be handy, Looking forward to meet you and help your love one, Caregiver Certified Adult/Child and New born child First AID CPR/AED Loly
