Hiy Name is Cathy I live in small town Called Wadley Georgia I have been taking care older people since I was little first I have started out withy grandmother then after she die I started doing home health then I became PRN I have a passion taking care of older people because was I get old I know some one have to do samething for me.

I really enjoy being a caregiver, I currently work with developmental and disability behavioral patients. What I enjoy most about what I do is that I learn a lot from my patients everyday . Even though I'm working to help them achieve their daily living needs, health and activities. They teach me to be a better person, develop patience, knowledge and a sense of purpose. Knowing that I can help make a difference in someone's life is very rewarding . I'm a strong believer, that it takes a village and you can learn a lot from anyone.

I have worked in mental Health over 15 years. I have a BS in Community Mental Health and two years ago I semi retired. I have worked as a caregiver part-time for over 15 years, private and with agencies. I am SC state certified. I enjoy helping people, good at following orders, and needed task. I was residential manager of two group homes all dealing with those who had special needs, intellectual developmental issues, and disabilities and I had a great time getting to know all 14 clients and learning from them. I transported, Med passed, cooked, cleaned, gave baths, assisted with dressing and it was an experience like no other. I enjoy the time I get to spend doing activities and making my clients laugh and feel comfortable. If gives me great joy that they know they are loved and cared for.
