I really enjoy being a caregiver, I currently work with developmental and disability behavioral patients. What I enjoy most about what I do is that I learn a lot from my patients everyday . Even though I'm working to help them achieve their daily living needs, health and activities. They teach me to be a better person, develop patience, knowledge and a sense of purpose. Knowing that I can help make a difference in someone's life is very rewarding . I'm a strong believer, that it takes a village and you can learn a lot from anyone.

I have worked in mental Health over 15 years. I have a BS in Community Mental Health and two years ago I semi retired. I have worked as a caregiver part-time for over 15 years, private and with agencies. I am SC state certified. I enjoy helping people, good at following orders, and needed task. Nothing more rewarding emotionally than seeing a smile on the client's and the families face! I've been a caregiver for over 20yrs and it started with my Mom as a CNA when I was a child and she got me into a Red Cross program that allowed me to help with the Elderly in the nursing home she worked in. I began to work as a caregiver at age 19yrs old until now age 41yrs old.
