Hi my name is Jennifer and I have always enjoyed taking care of people in one fashion or another. I became a CNA in 1993 in NC and worked in many different venues ie; Ltc facilities hospitals , home health and agency. The medical field always has fascinated me so here I am almost 30 years still involved in it. I have also work as a customer service representative so I never ventured far from dealing with people. If I can impact a person's life by helping in a small way then I have served my purpose for that given day. One of my hardest experiences I have ever endured was when I took care of my Mom when she was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer. That in itself showed me that my job as a caregiver is always needed desperately.

I have been a caregiver for a little over two years now and have learned a lot. I have had experience in a nursing home, a hospital, and a group home. When I first started out I was very unsure about my job. I knew that I wanted to help people in need but didn't know if this was going to be the job for me. The longer I am in the medical field the more I love my job. I put 100% into my job and take care of my clients/residents. I am loyal, trustworthy, and very dependable. I have been raised to always treat others like you would want to be treated, respect everyone, and be kind. I remember while I was working in the nursing home I loved talking with the residents, they had a lot of cool fun stories of their lives. In all I am very compassionate about my job. At the end of the day it puts a smile on my face knowing I have made someone smile today.

I have several years of abundant caregiver experience as well as previous CNA experience. I have been a private caregiver for a Parkinson's client, a quadriplegic Vietnam veteran, and open wound, heart disease client. I have found that private care is best for those in need and enjoy helping others remain in their own homes with a sense of individuality, safety, and ensure I deliver compassion and support.

I've been a CNA for a year now. Ever since my grandpa was placed in the nursing home that's when I said I wanted to be in the health care field. I love what I do being able to create a bond with the residents, sometimes even be the only people they say everyday, or being their for them on their death bed is what means the most to me . I treat them all like they are family

As a Minister it is important to me to live by the Golden Rule, to treat others as you want to be treated. It is an honor & privilege for me to help those who cannot help themselves. Treating all people with kindness and respect is a lost quality in today's society, but it is literally my calling to be a true friend to all. I thought having a high paying career and managing a large firm was my dream until I realized that that was the worlds dream for me. I could not find peace in these types of careers because my calling is to serve others.

There are serval things that make me the compassionate care giver that I am! I have a special need of the caring of others in general! I enjoy assistance people that are in need of my assistance! It's more than a pleasure to me! I have several yrs of home care aid that requires being attentive, patience, Lovable with the best care provided!

I became a caregiver because it fufills my heart, mind , and soul. I get great satisfaction knowing that I can help keep a person safely and comfortably in their home. Meeting new people and their families has given me a lot of knowledge to use for the next job I am fortunate to receive. My years of experience have taught me to have patience and compassion for each person because everybody is different in their own way. I have raised an incredible teenager who is thriving in life. One of the things I am most proud of is that I took care of my mother who was dying of lung cancer. I was the best advocate for her that I could be. I kept her safe and comfortable to live out the last days of her life. I have done a little of everything in the medical field. I have worked in the ER, assisted living, home health and hospice and live in private duty. When I am not working I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family.
