Hi my name is Jennifer and I have always enjoyed taking care of people in one fashion or another. I became a CNA in 1993 in NC and worked in many different venues ie; Ltc facilities hospitals , home health and agency. The medical field always has fascinated me so here I am almost 30 years still involved in it. I have also work as a customer service representative so I never ventured far from dealing with people. If I can impact a person's life by helping in a small way then I have served my purpose for that given day. One of my hardest experiences I have ever endured was when I took care of my Mom when she was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer. That in itself showed me that my job as a caregiver is always needed desperately.

Im a people person, since i was young ive always wanted to take care of my elders. Ive taken care a few people and absolutely love it

I've been a CNA for a year now. Ever since my grandpa was placed in the nursing home that's when I said I wanted to be in the health care field. I love what I do being able to create a bond with the residents, sometimes even be the only people they say everyday, or being their for them on their death bed is what means the most to me . I treat them all like they are family

I became a caregiver because it fufills my heart, mind , and soul. I get great satisfaction knowing that I can help keep a person safely and comfortably in their home. Meeting new people and their families has given me a lot of knowledge to use for the next job I am fortunate to receive. My years of experience have taught me to have patience and compassion for each person because everybody is different in their own way. I have raised an incredible teenager who is thriving in life. One of the things I am most proud of is that I took care of my mother who was dying of lung cancer. I was the best advocate for her that I could be. I kept her safe and comfortable to live out the last days of her life. I have done a little of everything in the medical field. I have worked in the ER, assisted living, home health and hospice and live in private duty. When I am not working I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with my family.

I have been a caregiver for a little over two years now and have learned a lot. I have had experience in a nursing home, a hospital, and a group home. When I first started out I was very unsure about my job. I knew that I wanted to help people in need but didn't know if this was going to be the job for me. The longer I am in the medical field the more I love my job. I put 100% into my job and take care of my clients/residents. I am loyal, trustworthy, and very dependable. I have been raised to always treat others like you would want to be treated, respect everyone, and be kind. I remember while I was working in the nursing home I loved talking with the residents, they had a lot of cool fun stories of their lives. In all I am very compassionate about my job. At the end of the day it puts a smile on my face knowing I have made someone smile today.

I am very Maticulous w everything.. Longevity, dependable, reliable, outgoing and a over achevier. Giving my heart to those who need it most ..putting a smile on the face of a patient and giving the family the stress less part of not having to take care of there family but enjoy what time is left w them.My most rewarding goal would be meeting lots of diff people from diff backgrounds and hearing all there stories good and bad !! Hello! My name is Amber, I'm 22 years old and have a five year old daughter. My main goal of being a CNA is helping maintain the best life possible. Seeing smiles, hearing laughs, watching one remember things they forgot is why I love being a CNA. I have been a CNA for 3 years now and I'm currently enrolled at Parkland and working towards my LPN.
