Hi i'm Erica! I have been a caregiver in an assisted living facility and also private homes. Most of the people i have cared for all wanted the same thing. They want to feel useful and wanted even tho they need help completing everyday task. Letting a client do something for themselves with only small assist helps keep their minds sharp and helps them feel a little more independent! I enjoy seeing people feel accomplished and happy.

My personality traits are being dependable, compassionate and trustworthy. As well as emphasizing with the patients needs and identifying before a family member. What attracted me to become a caregiver is me being compassionate to help others and make a difference in people life's. I really enjoy being a caregiver because I love to help people who aren't willing to do for themselves or just being an extra boost and helpful hand! I as well love hard and as well care for one another. I like to stay busy and can multitask with different task. I received my certificate for Medical office administration and I was very proud of my self because it was a hard BUT successful journey I accomplished.

I am 23 years old I am in school studying to be a medical assistant. Hopefully in that field I will be helping patients get better. I have no children, I'm looking off to start my career as far as the goal that I am trying to succeed in today. Therefore every job that I am pursing means more than what it actually is.

I am a great care giver because I treat the individual(s) like they are of my own family. I am a firm believer of treating others how you want to be treated. My mother and father both took I'll around same time, I left my job of otr driving to take care of them, my father had pancreatic cancer and finally was diagnosed with 4 weeks to live, my mother had open heart surgery and was diabetic, she lost one leg and eventually lost both, I cooked and cleaned for them both for 5 to 7 years, ensure that they took their medication, I bathe them and help them dressed them selves, drove them to and from doctors appointments and other places, until they passed

I love to help ppl especially the elderly and I have a big heart and I believe that you have to love your patient and your job to be a good caregiver and I believe that you should always make sure your patient is comfortable and happy
