My name is Tanisha! I have been a caregiver since 2016 right before my grandmother was sick and suddenly passed. Thats where my passion really began, as a youg girl I would go with my mom to work in the nursing homes and i knew from there that thats what i wanted to pursue in life. I am laid back and easy going. My clients like me because I allow them to do whatever they're able to do. I only help them to keep them safe. I feel my client find their autonomy one of the most important things they have left. I love this work. I feel like I'm an important part of these people's lives. My ability to go above and beyond. I'm always smiling and very patient ,great listener. What attracted me to be a caregiver is just seeing how many people need help and knowing I can offer the help even before becoming a caregiver. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to see my patients smile knowing I can make they day and help them and take some load off them to relax. A personal achievement I'm proud of is making the president list in college and moving me and my kids into a new place.

I'm a very caring person I tend to put peoples needs before my own a lot I grew up with a aunt who was wheel chair bound and I've always admired my grandmother for taking care of her and always made me want to care for those who can't care for them self . It's a bitter sweet moment working in health care being the one these people see in their ending days it's an amazing feeling but being there and watching the transition is kind of hard but it's worth it knowing they had someone by their side the whole time while family members have to continue to work and maintain life a personal achievement would be juggling being a single mom and a caregiver never allowing the two to effect EACHOTHER .. and keeping a loving caring heart with the world we live in today
