It makes me feel great when I can brighten their day, make them understand that they do matter and I'm always their to protect and take care of them. I have family that I take care and I have a caregiver for them as well. So I like to make sure I feel comfortable with them as well as they feel comfortable, trustworthy with me as well. I enjoy preparing meals, reminding them of their meds, taking them to run errands or I will do it if they don't feel like it. But more than anything, I would like them to feel safe with me, I'm their for their needs, and companionship as well. I love to talk and let them know just because I'm here to do these things, they still matter and can enjoy life as well. I'm a good listener, and I have patients. My clients are like family to me. I treat them with much respect as I would if it was my own family.

Taking the best care of those who can't take care of themselves is a joy for me. I love conversing with others and learning about them. I'm a great listener, learner and apply what I have learned quickly. I am very easy to get along with. Making sure tasks I'm giving are completed correctly and on time is very important to me.

When I was younger, during the summer, I use to volunteer at the local nursing home/hospital. I love working with the elderly. We would pass out waters, feed them, play games, take them to the beauty shop, etc. I've always felt the need to help people and wanted to do that when I got older.
