Hello! I'm Sarah. I have been a caregiver for 5 years now. I have experience in most areas of memory care & mobility & also hospice care. I have gained my experience from working in a nursing home facility & also going out on my own into private duty care. I really enjoy private care. For the simple reason you can connect with the patient and the family on a more personal level while being in the patients comfort of home. My heart warming, and personable personality helps me tremendously when it comes to being a great caregiver. I empathize with people, as well as just give them one extra person to love them just as family would. I was in nursing school when I decided to become a CNA. When I began my work as a CNA, I left nursing school behind for a moment to really enjoy being a care taker. I loved it that much. I am now currently back trying to become a nurse, one college credit at a time, while still enjoying being a CNA full time. Being able to wake up knowing I love my job is very important to me. Giving care and ensuring the safety and comfort of an individual is an extremely rewarding job. I have the patients and compassion to give these people that just need a little extra help. I will provide them a friend and forever loved one, as I care for all of my patients as I would want my loved one to be cared for.
