Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart, I love all people and love being around people. What attracted me to being a caregiver is when I took care of my grandma after she broke her neck. She needed me the most and I was there. I enjoy making people smile, and laugh and being there for people in their time of need! My personal achievement is when I learned how to help my grandmother change her IV medicine ball! I was able to help her so much more when I finally learned how to do it.
