Hi my name is Cassandra I am a type 1 diabetic. I have always had an interest in the health field and helping others since I was little. I really enjoy helping people who need an extra hand in everyday living it is very rewarding for me to see someone smile and have that relief that they don't always have to do everything on their own that there is always someone there willing to lend a helping hand. Having a disease like diabetes has really pushed me into wanting to work in the health field. I am currently trying to get my STNA so I can continue my journey working with and helping others.

I'm a very compassionate, loving , kind, intelligent, loyal, dependable, well adjusted , hard working ,trustworthy woman. I have my Stna license. I have first aide . CPR. I've done caregiving since I graduated in 1996. I've always enjoyed knowing I'm making people smile and have a better day. It just takes one person to change the world. Especially with a smile.

Hello my name is Rebecca I got by Becca I been a care giver for 3 years almost 4 ..I started to care for my grandma for 2 months right after I had surgery for cervical cancer I was 3 weeks in to bed rest and grandma called she was looking at 4 to 6 months I came home to care for her . I love being a caregiver i never stop learning things ...I get to meet new people and hear they story of life and pass they Knowledge down. I love making my clients happy seeing them smile awesome my day

I became a caregiver because I love to take care of people I enjoy meeting new people and I am dependable and reliable I like to make sure the client has what him or her needs I also like to let them do things for themselves as much as they can I am a good listener I do light housekeeping and errands and personal care I also like to take the clients for walks if the weather is nice I like being a caregiver because I like to give back and help whoever needs help.

I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

I have provided care to several clients with different needs for many years. I take pride in performing task to the best of my abilities. It brings me joy to know I have helped an individual achieve there goals. I value dignity, respect, and independence.

Being a caregiver has been very rewarding in knowing I am able to make others feel good in their daily lives with assistance of daily living. They feel secure which makes me feel good and proud to assist. I have alot of compassion and heart for anyone.

For me, being a caregiver isn't just a career. It's my calling in life. I feel as though it's what I was put here to do. My very first job at age 18 was as a caregiver for a lady with MS. I cared for her as a live in for nearly three years with one day off weekly. I then moved to direct care for disabled individuals and have accumulated several years experience. I am certified in first aid/ CPR, medication administration, insulin trained, and have a wide path of experience to fall back on. I was also caregiver for my mother for five years until she passed from ALZ. I am currently attending college studying Human and Social Services to better provide for those I work with and for. I believe that being a caregiver requires a special individual, just as special as those I care for. I have always felt that the individuals I have met and worked with have each been a blessing in their own way and I am the lucky one for having them in my heart and life. I view my clients as family, nothing less. I am dedicated, sincere, patient, full of good humor, not easily upset, and my greatest joy is making others happy. That's the biggest benefit of all. I'm a very compassionate person, I listen to clients, hear their problems and let them vent when they need to. I enjoy hearing the clients lives about how they grew up, what they went threw growing up in an era that was very different from modern days. I feel that in my job I'm giving back to the community and assuring when ever and where ever I can.
