Hi my name is Cassandra I am a type 1 diabetic. I have always had an interest in the health field and helping others since I was little. I really enjoy helping people who need an extra hand in everyday living it is very rewarding for me to see someone smile and have that relief that they don't always have to do everything on their own that there is always someone there willing to lend a helping hand. Having a disease like diabetes has really pushed me into wanting to work in the health field. I am currently trying to get my STNA so I can continue my journey working with and helping others.

Hello my name is Rebecca I got by Becca I been a care giver for 3 years almost 4 ..I started to care for my grandma for 2 months right after I had surgery for cervical cancer I was 3 weeks in to bed rest and grandma called she was looking at 4 to 6 months I came home to care for her . I love being a caregiver i never stop learning things ...I get to meet new people and hear they story of life and pass they Knowledge down. Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs. I became a caregiver because I love to take care of people I enjoy meeting new people and I am dependable and reliable I like to make sure the client has what him or her needs I also like to let them do things for themselves as much as they can I am a good listener I do light housekeeping and errands and personal care I also like to take the clients for walks if the weather is nice I like being a caregiver because I like to give back and help whoever needs help.

I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

I'm a very caring, honest person who has over 14 yrs experience in Nursing. I specialize in Geriatrics with an emphasis on Dementia & Alzheimer's. I have worked as a Charge Nurse at nursing home & assisted living facilities & have decided to go into Home Care so I can provide one on one care. I don't mind helping with daily activities and any other personal needs.

I have provided care to several clients with different needs for many years. I take pride in performing task to the best of my abilities. It brings me joy to know I have helped an individual achieve there goals. I value dignity, respect, and independence.

I became a caregiver because my mother was a nurse. She did home health care for years and she always talked about how much she loved it. When I started into this field it was in hospice care and I loved it. I loved being there with families and helping them through the very difficult times. I always spent more time than required so I could ensure that things were the best they could be considering the situation. I tend to be a fairly quite person at first but become chattery once I feel comfortable. I have always been that way but I have become better with age. I love helping people. And spending time just talking if that's all they would like.

I am great at everything i do. Very out going and i have a deep care for other's. Nursing is not about the rate of pay, I believe it is about compassion for other's . I love what I do. And to be apart of someones life and provide exceptional care. I am a mother of 3 , hard working and very friendly. At every care position i have held i have received multiple rewards and recognition from the care I give. I do not feel inadequate in any aspect of my life, training or my abilities as a caregiver/ nurse.
