I've been a CNA & ERtech for 20+ years from hospitals, home-care,hospice to schools,no job is too small or large if there's a need I can fill or fit into. My mother was an RN that owned a large senior day care that I grew up in, in her twilight years I became her caregiver so I've been on both sides of the 'caregiver' role, I know how hard it is to find a good match and how important dependability, honesty and a compassionate heart is. I've remained in this role all these years because I genuinely love history and people to me are the ultimate living walking history especially seniors. I've won many awards but I'm most proud when I'm able to bring comfort or a smile to someone. I have many references letters and awards, can provide all at interviews my hourly rate is negotiable depending on hours, pay is negotiable.

I love people and think we should all be treated with respect and kindness. I started caregiving due to the fact of both of my son's great-grandparents were diagnosed with dementia. I did not want them to be placed in a home or separated. Then after both of them passed away, I sadly went back to my wrecker service. Worked only two weeks and decided this is not what God wants me to do. So I went to work for Kelly's assisted living as an on-call coordinator and doing PCA work during the day. Then Mr Hartman came into my life he suffered from MS completely quadriplegic I was told I would be lucky if he lived 5 years. He became a father to me I kept him alive with the grace of God for over 20 years. He was a very large man that was bed bound but everybody was amazed that he only had one bed sore the entire time I took care of him. I do not have a problem with any pets and helping take care of them. I also will help your loved one with grocery shopping all ADLs and housekeeping.I love to make people smile. I have a quirky sense of humor. I also worked in a facility under memory Care. I just hope as I age someone will care for me as I have cared for the people in my life. I became a caregivers when my grandmother became ill. Seeing progress, seeing faces light up when I walk in thee room, listening to past stories, their past, being able to help keep clients in there home and as much as possible independent. When you meet a client who just wants to give up and that perfect fit cna-comes along and gives that client hope and purpose to keep going. About me: I'm patient, kind and I think first before I react. I away put thee shoe or my foot first to see how it could affect thee other person before anything. I am a loving, caring, passionate, reliable and hard-working caregiver who loves to take care of the elderly. I became a caregiver after my mother became ill and needed assistance. Caring for my mother at her most vulnerable time, sparked my interest and as a result, I was passionate to care for others who needs assistance. I enjoyed caring for those who are unable to care for themselves. Being able to comfort others and care for those in need with their day to day life is a passion of mine. Seeing the joy and happiness on my client's face at the end of the day, and knowing they are please with the care I have provided, is one of my greatest achievement which I am truly proud of.

As a teen, I helped my mother care for my grandmother and always enjoyed spending time with her. My own mother is a dementia patient with diabetes and I am involved in her care as well.
