My major objective for becoming a caregiver is to make a difference in people's lives. People need a doctor to diagnose and treat their diseases and ailments, they need a nurse to administer medication and treatment when they are sick. However, at all times they need a caregiver to listen to them, attend to their everyday needs and treat them with compassion. That is where I come in. What I like about being a caregiver is that it affords me the opportunity to use what I have, the skill, knowledge, experience coupled with love, honesty and integrity to help people in need. One personal achievement I am proud of is the completion of the NRCPT Phlebotomy Technician's certificate and yet, rather than sit down to do venipuncture, I chose to do what I like most--care for people. I have worked in various aspects of the healthcare system. Overseas, I worked as pharmacy technician, medical assistant and nursing assistant for eight years. Here in the United States I have taken care of different kinds of patients especially the geriatric population and those with Alzheimer's disease as a professional certified by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. I am very reliable, dependable and both a team player and team leader. I do my job with integrity and honesty. Moreover, I take the job personal in that I view the patient as if he/she was my father/grandfather, mother/grandmother, uncle/aunty.
I would say that I am very good at helping others I am a good motivator and a good listener. I love helping others and being there for others I hope to one day become a registered nurse. I enjoy most about being a care giver is the smile on my patient at the end of the day knowing that I was able to help them makes me very happy . I am very proud of myself because everything I've put my mind to in the last couple of years I have accomplished and I getting my CNA and PCA
I love caring for others, I have been told that I am a very patient and caring. I believe you should treat others with respect and compassion no matter with their physical or mental state may be. I have always been a caregiver starting with babysitting. I'm known in my family as the baby whisper. I enjoy knowing that I was able to help someone that needed help, but helping them in a way that still gives them their independence. I am proud that I can help someone accomplish a small task like brushing their teeth themselves or being able to use a walker instead of a wheelchair to take a few steps. Seeing someone feel they have the confidence to do something that seems so simple makes me feel like I have helped with personal achievements everyday.
As a caregiver/CNA I do this type of work because its what I enjoy. I'm a very caring person that has a deep compassion for the work I do. I treat my clients as my own. Companion is a must. I'm a very listening and understanding person that empathizes. VERY ENCOURAGING! Catch on very quickly, discerning new clients and surroundings (it tells me a little about their personalities and characteristics, what i may be up for). I've known since age 13 what I wanted to do. I'm a certified CNA, caregiver, HAHA. I've worked with many individuals in very different levels. I have 13+ in the medical field. I love challenges. I've worked with many challenging residents and clients in homes, out of homes, nursings facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. I'm willing and ready to take on whatever needs my attention. I can do ROM, participate in Dr appointments, etc. When and if hired, I will provide documentation.

I am a compassionate person who enjoy helping others. I'm a registered CNA with CPR/BLS and EKG training. I have over 15 years of experience with the elderly and disabled. After many years of working in a Hospital Business Office by day and caring for a family member at night, I decided to become a Caregiver to others. I know first hand what it is like to need assistance with the care of a loved one and realizing that you can't be there 24 hrs a day. The uncertainty of trusting someone else to do it for you can cause anxiety. I promise you that I will treat your loved one with kindness, dignity and respect, the same way I would like my loved ones to be treated. This isn't just a job for me, it is a ministry and a passion.

Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health conduction or disability everyone deserves a quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "compassionate caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now him being such a young man he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him, and I did just that, so I could be of help to my friend and that he could have a quality life. So I took a course of action and learned how to transfer Quadriplegic patients now I could transfer him from his wheel chair to the my car and him from the car to his wheelchair the correct way, that alowed us to go places and do things that he liked doing. Then he began to stop looking at his self deficiencies but started making planes to do things and to love life so he started visiting places and he really enjoyed are times together and it was just like old times. That is how I got started caring for people.
