Hello, The reason why I decided to become a caregiver is to care for those who need extra company and care in their lives. Some of the treats I've been told I have that make me a good caregiver is being patient kind that those around me often come to for a laugh or good listen. I have a passion for care giving I was a fully qualified registered nurse in the UK and I have provided care for patients living in their own homes for over 20 yrs. I love it. I've worked in a respiratiry ward in the UK in the North Middlesex University Hospital caring for tracheostomy patients discharged from the ICU ward. Cared for patients with Asthma, COPD and acute respiratory conditions in a hospital settings for 3 years. Prior to the hospital experience I care for an Alzheimer's patient in her own home as a live in carer for 9 and a half years until she passed away at 94 years old. I worked in a residential home as well. Ihave a lot of experience.

I enjoyed taking care of elder family members especially my grandparents, since then I have dedicated my time in doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life.
