My name I Jasmine and I am 30. I have 3 children of my own and I honestly love to take care of other people. I love hearing old stories of their lives and seeing the excitement while they tell it. I have helped many in assisted living resume life without help.

I am a respectful, bubbly person looking to brighten someone's day by assisting them with every day task. I can be talkative and friendly while being professional.

I have extensive experience with adults and adolescents with mental illness/developmental disabilities. Experience with adults with Alzheimer's and dementia for over 5 years as well. I started out assisting in teaching western horse back riding lessons to children and adults for over 10 years, I worked my way to babysitting and private care to adults with IDD. And then began working with agencies that provided services to adults and children with mental health and IDD diagnosis. My passion is working with people, especially those diagnosed with physical or mental disabilities.

I have over ten years' experience in caregiving. I enjoy helping people in need. I am understanding, patient, and kind.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am a very homely down to earth type person. Very patient and hardworking. I a care a lot about other people. Especially our elderly family members, because.. hey they took care someone their self once. I think people deserve the best of attention and care because in improves their quality of life and they get to stay in their comfort zone. I love to spend time with elderly people and listen to what they have to say. It allows be to be able to make sure that I know they are treated like human beings and that all of their needs are taken care of. My 2 personal achievements that I have completed in home health so far was staying with 2 people for many years each until the passed away. They became my best friends and then family.

I have been in the medical field for almost 14 years. Healthcare is my passion. My grandmother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when I was 8 years old. Everyday that I was with her, I done my best to take care of her and get her anything that she needed. She told me that I was her little nurse, and that stuck in my mind. I knew from that moment on that I wanted to be in healthcare. I enjoy taking care of people, getting to know them and doing my best to provide the care that is needed. A personal achievement that makes me most proud would be doing the heimlich maneuver on a choking Vietnam vet successfully. A couple years later his diabetes and edema got worse and he was not expected to make it much longer. I stayed with the family and done my best to make him and his family comfortable during this time and gave them as much support that I could.

I am 20 years old. I graduated from Gate City High School in 2014. I attended Scott County Technical School and took a course to become a CNA. I passed the class but never got my certification for CNA. I am CPR certified. I have a passion for taking care of people! I love being outdoors, crafting, and cooking.

I feel like I am a caregiver by nature & I've been this way as long as I remember. It gives a sense of satisfaction knowing that I help people.

Caregiver for the past 15 plus years. Have experience with Hospice care from taking care of my father, took care of my husband 2 years ago when he had a broken ankle then months later had to deal with him developing blood clots being put on blood thinners, I've worked with IDD population prior to taking care of my husband & father. I've worked in nursing homes, involved in metal health classes & work in a Gero-Psch ward, loved helping my patients.

I am Christian woman. I am 45 years old. I enjoy being able to help make someone have a better quality of life. I have compassion for people who can no longer take care of things they used to.I became a caregiver because I believe that I am able to help a person who is in need of a loving and caring person who helps with anything they need. It brings me satisfaction to help people and take care of their basic needs.
