I'm the oldest of 11 kids and I've always had to be a caregiver. I enjoy taking care of people young and old I feel like that's will God put me here for. I don't like to see people in pain I always feel like I have to help everyone.
what make me a great caregiver, is my ability to have patiece and to try to understand the needs of the individual and try my best to help them accomplish their goals. I became a caregiver to assist those individuals, with disabilities to achieve their individual goals and responsibilities . What I like about being a caregiver, is to be able to come into an individual 's home assist the individual with whatever their needs they may have to undertake and we accomplish their task together. one of my personal achievements, was when the individual that I was working with with couldn't remember staff's names but always call them friend. He would make reference to staff members as the title Friend. I began to work on that goal with him
and through repeatious actions he started to repeat the staffs names and remembered them. That goal accomplishment, made the individual happy and also staff.
Servitude is self rewarding and my nature.
I myself, as a child & young adult, had to experience post operative care

I became a caregiver because some time families get busy, and its not that they are too busy to care for their love one but its can become stressful. I like being able to help and being a caregiver allows me to help not just one person but a whole family. Working in the medical field is my greatest personal achievement. It' a lot of hard work and deduction but when its something you enjoy it's worth it. Since childhood I wanted to be a doctor and this is just the being of a wonderful journey.
