Hello, I am a patient, hardworking, trustworthy, compassionate , Certified Medication Technician, who is CPR , AED , and First Aid trained , with over 18 years experience as a CNA. I have geriatric, hospice, dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's , Bipolar , COPD , and stroke experience, working in. nursing facilities, hospitals, assisted livings, and private residences. Caring for my grandmother is one of the reasons I became a CNA, and decided to become a private caregiver to give patients one on one care without rushing, treating them with the respect they deserve and expect. My personality is very bubbly and caring. I always go out of my way to assure my clients feel secure and safe in my care. I love to learn and very eager to sharpen my skills. I aim to please. What really attracted me to becoming a caregiver was watching my mom day by day leave every morning in her fancy scrubs to go save the world. It was like my personal super hero and I always wanted to be just like her. The most enjoyable part about my job is knowing I'm making a change for someone else's life. I'm the reason things are a lot easier and smoother and to me that's the biggest reward. I would have to say my personal achievement would be my daughter. I become a caregiver beacuse I love working with people and I work with my mom and brother before they pass away and I know and understand how hard it would be on the person who is caring for their love one,and I like that the person whom am caring for can count on me to be there for them and will always look out for them and put them first always.My bigest achievement is watching someone went from I can't do it to am doing it( which mean I work on a case when the person could not walk again and he did not want to do his exercise and I would explain to him everyday I work with him that if he want to do most of the things he say he missed doing and like doing he will have to do his exercise everyday and he will see that he could walk again, and I tell him that everyday and get him to trust me and I got him to walk again and to me that was big. i'm 36 years old and a mother of two and I love to work with people and I have 16 years of managers exeperance and customer serive, and I had also manager three group homes and one of them I was the live-in house manger and I love that for I would get to hire the persons that I know who would love what we do just as I love what I do, and would not mined treating our client as part of the family.

It's a passion of mine every since I was a child to take of people from family to friends. To resure family that they can do they daily living knowing that their love one is taking care of. I knew ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to care for others. I absolutely love caring for others. I'm looking to further my education in the Nursing field. I have 22 years experience with caring for others with Cancer, Dementia, Diabetes and Stroke patients, that's just to name a few. I do meal preparations, bathing, light housework and running errands. Basically whatever is needed of me. I have experience with the Hoyer Lift and Transfer board. I have my CPR and First Aid and also I'm a Certified Medicine Technician. I have been in the caregiving field for over five years. I too have taken on the responsibility of taking care of loved ones until they passed away. I believe you have to have a special gift to be a caregiver and I definitely have been blessed to have that gift. I have successfully completed a training program and state examination at Morning Star Academy-School of Allied Health in Rockville, MD in 2012. Outside of homecare, my hobbies include taking care of my 3 yo son, practicing special effects makeup, painting and drawing. Previously, I worked in long-term care facilities located in Virginia. I have been working in homecare consistently since 2015. My experience in homecare has been rewarding and less stressful.
