I'm a licensed nursing assistant of 10 years. I've been a caregiver for 15+ years, from companionship up to managing home health company. My goal is to give good care and companionship to our senior citizens. I've always had the mind and heart to help others. It makes me proud to keep my clients happy and encourage their independence in the comforts of their own home, as well as provide relief for family members. I'm very knowledgeable in various aspects of healthcare (medical as well as non-medical) So, I've decided to step out on my own. Services I provide are bathing assistance, meal prep, light cleaning, shopping, errands, doctors appointments, vital signs, glucose checks, bp monitoring, medication reminders and set up, reporting abnormalities to physicians. I'm caring, trustworthy, dependable and compassionate. I have my own reliable vehicle. I will transport, if needed, for shopping, doctors appointments, companionship. I'm a down to earth caregiver paying it forward. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

I became a caregiver because I genuinely love helping people anyway possible. I love being able to help others and provide support , talking with others , or just being a ear if needed. I understand , how important a good support system is critical to one's mental and physical wellbeing. I enjoy the feeling that I receive jus t knowing that I've made someone else's life easier or more enjoyable. I love living.life. I'm also a firm believer that how you feel is important to your overall health. It's important to feel secure that you'll be provided for. I'm beyound proud that I`ve recently received my certification as an CNA and currently continuing my education to becoming a RN.
I see myself as a friendly person, who genuinely cares about others. I am usually quick to gauge the setting and come up with a good "Icebreaker". In those instances where I'm not sure about others, I'm shy and reserved until I determine my opening. I've held many jobs in my life. I hadn't found lasting personal satisfaction in any ;until I found myself talked into sitting with a 90 year old "country woman" and my journey began. I come from a prime example of honor and love in caring for others. My Mother has spent her entire life, since 5 yrs. old making a difference to someone in need. In no way had I ever seen, entertained or aspired to work in a nursing home, or with an elderly/disabled/hospice patient . It came about as my own road became narrower. I'd like to think I've found my purpose in working with those who can't do it all on their own. It is my goal to impart to each of those I've worked with that it is my Priveledge to be of service to them . I have a very simple code that I work and try to live my life by. That is : "Always Leave Someone The Way You'd Want to Be Left. " And, "Always Leave Something Better Than You Found It."

I have always wanted to work in the healthcare field. In high-school I became and CNA. I am currently attending SFASU School of Nursing and will graduate with an RN BSN in May 2019. I have had plenty of experience with home health and caring for individuals that needed special care and help with activities of daily living.
I left the fast paced environment of the hospital in order to be able to give more personal care to my patients. I like the one on one relationships that I develop in this field. After witnessing caregivers work with my own mom, I developed a more sincere appreciation for the work. I think I am good care giver because I have personal desire to see people nurtured and cared for in a loving atmosphere. I think I am most proud of the fact that I was able to work with the extended family as well as the doctors to achieve the goals that were set out for my last patient.
