I've always liked working with elderly because I can help them do things that they can't do sometimes. I try to fill their life with joy and positivity, I enjoy the most watching their eyes glow and how they feel loved when they have company. I become their family when family can't be there. I love hearing their stories and their lifestyle before they went to the home. I love connecting them, and having them happy and treated correctly. The elderly can be like babies and can be in a lot of need so I love being able to help them and do what they need. Help them adjust to their life now. I'm proud of being able to fully connect and quickly connect With any patient and take care of them as they were my family member.

Hello! My name is Keesha and I have been a caregiver, for a little over 2 years. I have traveled the world, worked some of the best jobs, eaten amazing food, been to some spectacular shows, museums and events, but caregiving has been the most rewarding experience thus far. As a 31 year young woman, there is always significant age difference between my clients and I, and I think that's what makes our relationships so special. Each client is like a new book. I learn so much of their lives, who they were, their spouse, kids parents, etc. and they get to learn so much from me! Being a caregiver is more than just completing daily chores, it's about connected with the individual. It's understanding that they're in a new/last phase of their lives, and this phase should be treated with attentiveness, love, patience and respect. I love what I do and I think it's special. Hello I started out watching my mother with a patient she worked with. I remember the smile he would have when she was to come around and how he felt safe with her and comfortable and watched my mom help him and was always making sure he was in good hands and happy.I was 16 at the time. So when i finished high school I wanted to do what she did. I started my First Job at Brookdale in a memory care unit as a resident care tech for 3 years and I loved it,but I couldn't get a job easy because I didn't have my CNA licences so I challenged the CNA test and passed it .After That I started working at Beach House in assisted living and in memory care as a CNA . I just love helping others. Also making them feel loved and just having someone to talk to making them happy and safe. Currently Im doing private CNA work at the patient Home.
