I have a outgoing personality friends and family look at me a friend, fun and loving sprit. As I was a little girl I always find the need to help people who face problems and helping themselves. I'm currently a Certifed Licensed Pharmacy technician at Walgreens, looking for more ways to help people. I have previous experience doing home health aid work before Covid. My personality has always been helpful to build meaningful relationships and connections with people. As a child I watched my mother and grandmother work in nursing homes and hospitals. Going with them on bring your children to work day has made me want to help others.

I enjoy working with people and helping them in anyway, I am COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) by trade, I have worked in SNF and outpatient therapy for about six years. I love being able to help a patient regain independence and help them compensate with a disability.

My life passion is to take care of and provide comfort to patients in need. I was unable to pursue my dream until I was able to take a severance package and leave the retail company I had worked with for 22 years. After traveling in an RV, with my husband, for about 6 years, where we were able to see God's beauty and meet wonderful people, I was encouraged by my husband to pursue my dream. I worked to Arizona Western a college in Yuma, Arizona. I became employed in the ER of the local trauma center. I remained there for approx 5 years. We moved to Jacksonville, FL. In May of 2012, and I became at Mayo Clinic where I work in Cardiovascular, and Progressive Units of the Hospital. I have spent the past 2 1/2 years in Mayo Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic.

I have worked as a Caregiver for over 15 years. Went to college for LPN. I enjoy working to help & care for people, it is very satisfying to me, I feel it stems from growing up in a large family. I have three grown children & care for three of my Grandchildren full time & love every minute of it, they all are loving, kind, generous, & intelligent for their ages. I have been caring for the disabled and elderly in my family for several years. I believe that there is a nobility in caring for those who cannot do for themselves and acts of kindness make the world a little better. Caregiving is a job that often goes unnoticed but is very rewarding and brings me peace to know I'm working to make things easier for someone else. A personal achievement that I'm proud of would have to be providing for my daughter and making her smile. It drives me to work hard, so that I can keep doing activities with her that make her happy.
