Became a caregiver to care for my Father in Law, Hospice trained me and he originally stayed in my home 5 months before passing at 92 years old. Since that time I've stayed with individuals and couples in different settings with different medical conditions. I am empathetic , happy Christian woman; enjoy helping others-giving. Very sociable, dependable and caring. Love reading & cooking, If I can make a difference in the life of a loved one, then I have fullfilled my job duties:))

I'm a very Loving caring person with many skills. My calling in being a caregiver is to provide Companionship and making you feel comfortable and loved as if you were one of my family members. I worked 25 years in the Rutherford County School System as a Custodian and a Lunchroom Worker. I learned many skills in my years working there. How to be a team player was one of the many skills I learned. My references included 3 Principal's that I worked for.

I have been a CNA for 13.5 years . I'm a single mommy of 4 children, Ages 22,18,17,9 I have had private family experience for at least 6 years , i have also worked in facilities 2 years ,as well as Home care 10 + years i prefer home care because i can focused on that one specific patient one at a time . I am willing to help with any daily needs ,errands such as medicine pick ups ,grocery store runs ,household supplies etc. I am Hoping to further my career in nursing in the next month or so . I love and enjoy caring for others and helping families in surrounding area's of my location of Ellenboro ,NC I currently travel to shelby ,Nc Kings Mountain Nc Forest city Nc , Ellenboro Nc ,Mooresboro Nc, as well Gaffney Sc . I would say my best personality trait is that I have a big heart. I have always been a caregiver, especially when it came to family. I currently work as a lead teacher in a daycare, I love my job so very much! I enjoy being surrounded by joy and love. I would say I love the connections you get with the family's is what I love the most. It's all about caring for the person and their family so they all feel heard :)

I started caregiving right out of high school as soon as i was of age to do so. I've always had a love for helping people and with a family full of nurses it felt right to jump right in. I was in school for nursing but changed my mind on that certain degree and plan on switching in the future. I have been a caregiver for more than 4 years and love each and every day of it. I have experience with many things all across the board and i'm never afraid to learn new things either. I have worked with hoyer lifts, gait belts, wheel-chairs, etc.. I have a love for helping and can't wait to assist you and your loved one with any needs!
