Hello! My name is Jenna Taber I am 29 years old. I have a 6 year old son named Michael and he lives with me. I have been in the caregiving field for well over 12 years, but I became certified through All Metro Healthcare in Corning around 4 years ago. I have worked in nursing homes and clients homes as well. I have experience with dementia clients, TBI clients, Alzheimer's clients, bed ridden clients,and clients who use a hoyer or a lumex to transfer. I enjoy making a difference in someone's life even if it's just helping them with their daily needs. I wanted to be in the healthcare field due to seeing how much neglect my grandfather was put through. I also wanted to make a difference in someone's life as well. My goal is to become an RN or an LPN in the near future.

What is a personal achievement you are proud of ? I start working with my great grandmother and I see the I start loving what I'm doing with out going to college because that is something that comes from your heart . What attracted you to being a caregiver? The love of the old people I love working with them. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? That it's a great job and you can learn more to take care everyone.

I'm a mother of two kids, one boy and one girl. I spend most of my days with my kids. I enjoy working with patients who need a companion in their live. I mostly enjoy helping patients with Alzheimer's, I find them to be the most amazing people to talk to. I enjoy talking about their past and their memories. My goal is to achieve my nursing degree and move to help as much people as I can.

My personal traits that make me a great caregiver is that I like to get to know my clients that Im working for and getting to know clients likes and dislikes their favorite food tv shows What attracted me to become a caregiver is that my mom was in a car accident and had a brain injury from it I had to teach her how to shower read and daily activities at the age of 13

I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of my residents every day when they know there is someone there who is going to truly care for them no matter what. I am a care giver on a Neuro behavioral Unit which can be very challenging at times but something I love about being a caregiver is being able to be there for people who need me. Knowing that I am caring for someone who might not be able to do things without me and teaching them how to do daily activities on their own is the best. A personal achievement I am proud of is rescuing my dog that I have. He was terribly neglected to the point where he was starved and had mange and I was able to help him get better and make him know he will never be treated that way again. I am planning on going to be a registered nurse eventually but for right now I am content being a CNA. Iwouldnt be happier doing anything else in my life right now.

I decided to become a caregiver because growing up my grandmother had early onset Alzheimer's, I watched how her caregivers supported her but our family as well. I started working at an assisted living facility during college and then transitioned into home care. I feel like often times when being a caregiver you are meeting someone at a challenging point in their life. It takes understanding, patience, kindness. I enjoy being part of a team that can make the transition of needing care not only easier on the families but as easy as possible for the person needing care.

I have been taking care of people for 17 years, elderly, children and people with disabilities. I was In School full time until a few weeks ago. I am waiting to be accepted into a registered nursing program. I enjoy what I do especially when it is to benefit the people I am caring for. I am married with four children. We have horses, cats and a dog. I look forward to talking to you about your loved one.

I became a caregiver to take care of the elderly because It is a great need for it. My mother and Grandmother was in the field as well. I enjoy what I do and my children are my pride and joy and they are very proud of me. I work very hard for my residents and I would like to eventually move in to being an LPN and move to a RN
