I started out with helping take care of my grandmother while she was sick with cancer when I was younger, from then I moved on to helping others. I love helping others with things so they can still feel independent!

What is a personal achievement you are proud of ? I start working with my great grandmother and I see the I start loving what I'm doing with out going to college because that is something that comes from your heart . What attracted you to being a caregiver? The love of the old people I love working with them. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? That it's a great job and you can learn more to take care everyone.

I'm very reliable quiet & honest person I'm also very organized and I love meeting and helping people out especially when they need the help. What makes me a great caregiver is my personality. I've been in the care giving field since I was 17. Even before that. I was helping my mom at her job since I was 7. My whole life I've grown to love the caregiving field.

I'm a mother of two kids, one boy and one girl. I spend most of my days with my kids. I enjoy working with patients who need a companion in their live. I mostly enjoy helping patients with Alzheimer's, I find them to be the most amazing people to talk to. I enjoy talking about their past and their memories. Hi, my name is Danielle Dickison and I am a certified nurses aide, certified home health aide, and licensed practical nurse. I am certified in basic life support, CPR and AED, and first aid. Positive attributes to my personality that allow me to be a great caregiver are that I have a very big heart and I'm very caring. I treat all of my clients and residents as family. I am also cery dedicated to my work with a great worth ethic. The reason I chose to become a caregiver is because I have a family history of nurses, caregivers, and CNAs, and because I have always been drawn to caring for those who are no longer able to care for themselves independently. I feel as though as people who need help with activities of daily living, they deserve to have caregivers who genuinely care and value their career and the health, safety, and emotional and physical well-being. I have been a caregiver for two years. I worked at two facilities. I am familiar with working with people with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, covid-19, and many others. I have been through training multiple times and I know to feed , bathe , shower patients. If I will cook for the patient , clean, do household chores ect. I have worked in home health care as well as a facility and during these times I have met some wonderful people. I have met people from all over the world! I love what I do and I would love to help you and your loved ones.

I choose to be come a caregiver because of my grandma, watching her slowly struggle and get worse she needed aids and help herself. The way she talked about how much of a difference a good caregiver really was made me realize that I could do that and make a difference as well. I also knew what kind o wanted to be. I love the fact that you can brighten someone's day by just showing up helping and encourage them to keep doing things and being as independent as they can. My best achievement would probably me working hard and receiving my cna before even graduating high school. I am a person who will go out of my way to help others and do what what is needed without being asked, especially when it comes to safety.
