What makes me a great caregiver is that I strongly care for others and their well being. I'm reliable, I'm very understanding. I try my best to fulfill every given task that is brought upon me. I'm a great motivation person. I enjoy being their as a friend that's one main reason I became a caregiver. I like the fact that I'm able to be there for other's to give them a hand and to even just being able be have a one-on one impact is a great feeling. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I'm in school for nursing.

I strive to learn my patients best. Like what makes them upset. When there mad I like to talk about things they love like a family member or pet. Being able to be there for someone when there family aren't available makes me happy, because I'm someone who genuinely cares. My proudest moments of being a caregiver is hearing want my patients tell my boss about how such a wonderful caregiver I am.

I love being able to help others. I really enjoy being a caretaker and it's more then just a job to me it a passion. I make sure to take care of others how I would want to be treated. It brings joy to me to be able to help others in their time of need and know that when I leave I did everything in my power to make my client feel comfortable and happy.

I became a caregiver because I had always wanted to be a nurse when I was younger. Also, my best friend/sister-in-law became very ill at an early age and I had wanted to take care of her but never got the chance as she passed away at age 44. My mom also became ill shortly thereafter and I promised that she would never go to a nursing home. My intention was to care for her in my home, but unfortunately she never made it home from the hospital. I vowed that if I could not help my own family then I would help someone else. I love being able to help people stay in their homes as long as possible and having the family reassured that their loved ones are being cared for in their absence. My personal achievements that I am proud of are being with two of my clients until the end of their life and knowing that I made things a bit easier for their families. As for myself, I am the mother of four sons and grew up with five older brothers.

I started off as a hospice aide at the age of 17. This was while I was still in high school because I always knew that caring for others was my calling. I can remember being a little girl and wanting to help out with my grandpa who had suffered from a stroke leaving him disabled and needing help most of the time. I always wanted to help feed him and give him juice. When I went off to college I started doing home health and helping families that needed it. Every one I came in contact with me had such a great bond that we would share that we would become inseparable. I have been told that I have a spirit that most people need to look after others. It is something I enjoy doing. I love to help others because you never know where you could end up. Right now I currently work at a hospital with rehab dealing with stroke patients. I love it. I just want to be able to give people who are sick or just need the company the proper companionship and the love that they need.

I wanted to become a caregiver bc I like to help people that needs help when my grandma had a stroke and I help with her I realize that there are alot of people that needs help and I will like to help them if I can I will treat your family as if they were mine

I have always loved working with people and people have always taken to me nicely. I am currently in nursing school for my BSN because I want to be able to help people more. I smile a lot and people tell me that my smile makes them feel better. I have been exposed to people with all types of conditions and I have seen a lot.

I am 37 years old female I love people I currently lost my Husband so Hod is calling me to be available to help others that can't do as much also I currently work in Athens Ga I work at a cleaners have enjoyed it have wonderful people I work for but I'm am moving toward needing different schedule I have 2 lovely children also I volunteer at the Clark county public library which I love I enjoy riding horses and reading . I am realizing how caregiving is so important and I would like to be apart to help
