I became a caregiver because I had always wanted to be a nurse when I was younger. Also, my best friend/sister-in-law became very ill at an early age and I had wanted to take care of her but never got the chance as she passed away at age 44. My mom also became ill shortly thereafter and I promised that she would never go to a nursing home. My intention was to care for her in my home, but unfortunately she never made it home from the hospital. I vowed that if I could not help my own family then I would help someone else. I love being able to help people stay in their homes as long as possible and having the family reassured that their loved ones are being cared for in their absence. My personal achievements that I am proud of are being with two of my clients until the end of their life and knowing that I made things a bit easier for their families. As for myself, I am the mother of four sons and grew up with five older brothers.

I love being able to help others. I really enjoy being a caretaker and it's more then just a job to me it a passion. I make sure to take care of others how I would want to be treated. It brings joy to me to be able to help others in their time of need and know that when I leave I did everything in my power to make my client feel comfortable and happy.

I started off as a hospice aide at the age of 17. This was while I was still in high school because I always knew that caring for others was my calling. I can remember being a little girl and wanting to help out with my grandpa who had suffered from a stroke leaving him disabled and needing help most of the time. I always wanted to help feed him and give him juice. When I went off to college I started doing home health and helping families that needed it. Every one I came in contact with me had such a great bond that we would share that we would become inseparable. I have been told that I have a spirit that most people need to look after others. It is something I enjoy doing. I love to help others because you never know where you could end up. Right now I currently work at a hospital with rehab dealing with stroke patients. I love it. I just want to be able to give people who are sick or just need the company the proper companionship and the love that they need.

I am 37 years old female I love people I currently lost my Husband so Hod is calling me to be available to help others that can't do as much also I currently work in Athens Ga I work at a cleaners have enjoyed it have wonderful people I work for but I'm am moving toward needing different schedule I have 2 lovely children also I volunteer at the Clark county public library which I love I enjoy riding horses and reading . I am realizing how caregiving is so important and I would like to be apart to help

I love to help people. I started out taking care of my grandmother and just kind of fell in to the profession. I started out in just home health. I finally got certified. Been doing this over 12 years and been certified for 8. I love being a caregiver because you come across some of the most amazing people.

My biggest personality trait that helps me as a caregiver is that I am a genuine person. So I think that my patients will appreciate that no matter what state of mind they are in because they will always feel and respected. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was the fact that I want to become a pediatric RN. But I wanted to start from the bottom to see if I liked it and try something similar to the role that wouldn't take a long time to get certified in.. I Also wanted to actually see what it was like so that I could understand as a nurse what my own cna's go through. What I enjoy most is seeing my patients happy and clean. I know that they are alright with me. A personal achievement I have at this moment is that this field is becoming easier for me.

I'm very outgoing I love doing anything outside gardening any activities I'm always wanting to keep good vibes and be happy and keep the peace at all times as much as possible. What got me started on doing caregiving was my brother was hit by a car when he was eight years old and we needed to care for him a lot so I had a lot of experience with that with my brother he had several surgeries almost had an amputation, but luckily, we saved his leg And also my mom I know she's going to be getting older as well and I knew she would eventually need care, but I also fell in love with this job when I got into this field. I've been doing this line of work for eight years and I've enjoyed every moment with every patient that I have had the privilege of encountering with. The one thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is the love the care that I give, and seeing the patient's face after you have helped them with things that they can no longer do themselves. It brings me joy and I know the good Lord above has put me in this line of work for a reason. I love to see the smiles on there faces when I have helped them with tasks. The one thing that I am proud of is my job and my daughter. I couldn't be more proud of the life. I've been given with my daughter, and I can't be more proud of the job that I have been given through these eight years. I do have a nine-year-old daughter her name is Addie I love to be outside. I love music is one of my favorite things. My favorite colors is purple. And I am obsessed with Harry Potter is one of my favorite movies. Those are just a few of my favorite things.

I became a caregiver because I love helping people. People never think that you can change a person day by just having a warm smile,friendly ear. I like being a caregiver because I like helping. My personal achievement is my grandmother helping her to bounce back from a stroke and able to get back to her daily routine with just a little help. I am out going, friendly, dependable.
