I am a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) with the State of Michigan. I received Basic Life Support certification in CPR and AED with the American Heart Association. I graduated from Dorsey Emergency Medical Academy at the top of my class. I am a caring person by nature and I enjoy assisting individuals to enjoy as independent of a lifestyle as they are willing and able. I take great pride in providing quality care, companionship and dignity to each individual according to their needs. I am trained to assist or provide the activities of daily living, as well as being trained in restorative care. I am meticulous and detail oriented and compassion comes easily to me. Hi! I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I have current First Aid and CPR. I have worked with a variety of different people and am quite familiar with a variety of medical equipment. I currently manage an adult foster care home and I am looking to help people stay in their own homes. I know that nothing is more important than being at home with your family and friends!

What helps me be a great caregiver is that I am a very compassionate and patient person. I treat your loved ones as one of my own family members. I make sure I listen to all their needs, wishes, and wants, and I try my best to make that happen. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is that I feel the need to make sure your loved ones are taken care of properly and getting their ADL's met daily. I do this because that is how I would want someone to treat my loved ones. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I am able to have conversations with your loved ones daily, and to make sure that I am the reason their life and your life is 100% easier. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I pushed myself to enroll in a CNA Class and to push myself to give my son a better life then I had.

I'm a licensed CNA with 3 years of experience assisting clients via home care. CPR certified. I'm able assist with activities of daily living including companionship, grooming, bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, ambulation, rides to appointments, medication reminders, etc. I have a gentle bedside manner and pleasant demeanor. I love people! All people! Everyone has a story, a life filled with so many experiences. I love to talk and even more, I love to listen. I especially love the elderly and I believe they are very underserved by our communities. They have so much to share, so much wisdom & talent. I am high energy but I'm low key. I respect people & their wishes even if they are not the same as mine. I love to help. I have always been a caregiver & always will be.

I love doing private care and home health care. I always listen to what to they have to say and never interrupt I think that's what helps the most. I love helping people and when i know that they need help and I was the one that did it it makes me feel good. I'm proud of being a caregiver cause everyday is a new experience of what I might run into and it's exciting to work where I work. I love my residents and the people I work with.

I became a caregiver at the age of 19. I have been employed in nursing home facilities and by individuals (couples). I have cared for my grandparents while they suffered from cardiac issues, dementia, anurisuims, and kidney failure. I have owned and operated a group child care facility while my children were growing up. I have raised three of my own children, a neice, nephew, and two grandchildren. I have worked for over 14 years as our church nursery supervisor. I am fun, energetic, creative, dependable, and resourceful. I have cared for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, ALS, HNPP, heart conditions, incontinence, cancer. I am able to assist with personal needs, (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, medications, housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, errands, appointments, yard work, physical and memory exercises), and most of all provide companionship. I feel it is important for individuals to engage in activities (as they are able). I am very resourceful, creative, reliable and dependable. I am trained empathic listening skills, grief, c-pap, bi-pap, cough assist, feeding tube, basic first aid, adult and child/infant CPR certification. I have a clean driving record.
